As a rock climber, I believe it to be the ultimate hobby. Rock climbing can be social, as you can meet other people and be open. Rock climbing can be solo if you just don't make conversation with other people. Its also a mental hobby, as you have to use your brain to plan out your moves. Finally, rock climbing is also very physical, as you literally just climb shit. you can also meet some rock climbing baddies

Yeah I am attending dance classes (salsa, merengue, swing), however, there is a particular problem. As weird and contradictory as it might sound, I live in Latin America, where all these dances come from, however, there are very few places outside a class where one could actually dance this kind of music, since most of clubs play Reggaeton, Trap or Dancehall. The other dances are sadly mostly associated with old people, however, many people attending the classes are young in their 20s like me.

I started doing that because i was bulled as a kid. I read books, but most of them are factual based books, learning is awesome. Books dont run out of power and dont need to be replaced so easily, and the smell of the pages are a bonus. real ink and paper for me is even better than online books.

I have many hobbies, its so much fun because not only you're doing it for fun, you'll push yourself to do something that you never thought you'd do and plus, you'll get better at it eventually and like brett said, who knows we can use it for a profession or something if we really get good at it. I have many friends that have certificates but end up doing what they love (hobbies), and it pays good bucks too lol. My point is, try many things, you'll never know what you like until you try something out. As for me, I'm deeply into music and physical and active sports such as soccer, volleyball, running and many more. But now I'm currently obsessed with music theory and still learning new things everyday (guitars and drums). Learning an instrument also can be a social hobby btw you can jamm out with friends who has same interest as you are in music and then learn something new by discussing with them. At the end of the day, you'll never stop learning.

I like the idea that you are SUGGESTING Hobbies and some being Cooler than others, and I even get the fact that this is for a "SPECIFICE DEMOGRAPHS"-but in general, I feel that Hobbies are something that YOU FEEL LIKE DOING-SOMETHING THAT IS A PART YOU and not something that SHOULD BE DONE! Just my thought-else, have no Grudge for the Man, nor the video-it was great tbt

And remember Guys, the most important part is that YOU enjoy these hobbies and are pationate about them, don't let other people tell you what you _shoud_ do or downspeak your Hobbies.
    Cheers!

I have too many hobbies tbh. Some of my favorites are art, guitar, harp, sewing, gardening, chess, cooking and just a walk in the park or gaming with the boys and random peeps. Really helped me.

One cool hobby is skating (or "similar" things like BMX and scutter). You can relax cruising, be Creative with your tricks, go to a skate session with Friends and be fit (specially with BMX since It requieres a lot of strength). Also if you are good at it you look super dope since style is a crucial part of the sport

I swear bowling is such an underrated sport my mom signed me up for a league when I was 10 and I fell in love with it. It also feels really satisfying once you get good and learn how to curve the ball. If you don’t believe me when I say curving search up people like Jason Belmonte and Anthony Simonson.

I am currently doing almost half of the hobbies that are listed. I feel good but outside i am still what i am. I still want validation from people around me i guess. I play guitar very good, i do know it but i still want people to say "you play very good". Maybe im pretending to be okay when im sick. Just wanted to talk about it, Many of us seek validation i think but BROS YOU DON'T NEED VALIDATION. You reading this bro, you are an epic individual bro keep it up 💪

instead of crossfit id reccoment calisthenics. Its a grind but it really challeneges you mentally and helps build discipline and it feels so rewarding when you lern new skills. The skills you learn always translate to new ones its like an endless cycle of new challenges that you can do at home.

Victor Frankl is right. However, you do not find your purpose by figuring out which hobbies are the most attractive and forcing yourself into pursuing them. But , in fact, you find your purpose by allowing yourself time to mentally relax and trying things you might like. Then once you find something you like, peruse it until you are bored, then move onto something else as then you know you are moving closer to your purpose :)

I saw this video on my recommended, and decided to click on it just to comment this: While I'm sure the hobbies in this video are great suggestions, don't pick your hobby on how you think other people will view it. Do it for yourself, not others. One of the great bonuses of being fully invested into something is that you stop caring about other things, like how people see you. So at the moment, you might want to pick something that you can see your self sticking to, and offers a large amount of challenge. These two things are basically the only requirements to meet, then once it becomes a foundational part of your life, you will reap the rewards.

There isnt anything more badass than having a lame / unpopular hobby but being passionate and serious about it no matter what. Like that one interview with Henry Cavil when he is asked what he geeks about and he with straight confidence says "Warhammer 40k" and doesnt care one bit about the slight laughter in the room and completely ignores everyone else but one guy who comments that he also plays the game.

Strange to think how useful a list of hobbies could be. I think the thing that makes video games so appealing is that everything in the user interface is a list. There's no ambiguity, just concrete options that do something. Meanwhile in meat space there is ONLY ambiguity within the infinite possible options you have in front of you. Really, people don't want endless options, they'd rather have like... 3.
