As a singer and Voice Over actor, I got the Audient ID 14 MK ll However, now this new product has come out, the BOSS VE-22 Vocal Performer is this for a performer who wanna sing live as well as record at home, be a voice-over actor and perform character work a better choice than the one I have, the Audient ID 14 mk ll? How to understand these voice processors compared to Sound interfaces, are they also real sound interfaces today, like this Boss VE-22? I need advice. I feel Logic Pro is a handful, to say the least. I am a performer, not a tech guy, so I want to create, not spend 90% of my learning sitting with the interface of Logic Pro 3 am... lol But, I am learning. can someone please advise me on comparing what I have, the Audient, vs the Boss vocal performer you show here and the usage difference, the quality difference on the tech side of these cool devices... Thanks to any tech guy who has seen and tested these devices mentioned and can help clarify things for me better... best, Chris
I am a clown by nature. My son and I do silly things on the mic. We found a few effects on this thing that I would use for "voice acting". It's not the type of unit anyone would normally use "dry" but we messed around with it and I thought it would be cool to use for my son's lego movies. You can elevate and lower your voice, autotune (like Finn does sometimes in Adventure Time). I do find anti hiss and compression to be great for speaking. The "enhance" presets (shown on my other video) lets you annunciate like Slick Rick. I think it would be great with a condenser mic for narrating. Your best bet is to buy it from Amazon, try it and send it back if you hate it.
