I heard this song for the first time in 1983, while traveling by bus from Oklahoma to Texas…I was 14 years old. I memorized every word…wrote the lyrics on the back of my bus ticket. Every word! When I got back to my small town in Oklahoma two days later, I was still singing the song and my mother drove me 16 miles (the nearest town with a record store…omg I am old lol) and bought the album for me. I have introduced probably 50 - 100 people to this melodic heartbreaker and never understood why it was not a hit…maybe it should have been on a soundtrack (soundtracks were a wealth of underrated gems in the 1980s) to gain more exposure. I still love this track 40 years later. It was released before the big hair monster rock ballads and an overlooked treasure from the early 1980s. Thank you for posting this video!

Prism, Beat Street! Henry Small singer. Prism does not recognize this album because it was Henry Small only. The "real" Prism was with Ron Tabak as lead singer.
