- BeamNG Drive - Racing a lot of cars with no front brakes, the first run did not end well, the seconf run the cars did a bit better. lots of crashes and flips.

Fun fact: Majority of go-karts are equipped with rear brakes only. According to the FIA regulations, if minimum weight with the driver included exceeds 170 kg in the class the kart is in, then your kart can be equipped with front brakes.

@Jacob Shatford Front brakes do the majority of braking, as the weight of the vehicle shifts to the front upon braking. Rear brakes in this case are for additional stopping force.
This is why front brakes are usually stronger than rear brakes. I once had a rear brake failure on a practice day. I drove 15 laps around the track without realizing that I don't have brakes in the rear.

Water 💦 hazards work well to slow down speeding vehicles . My vans brake fluid leaked out this summer fortunately I didn’t hit anything. Very scary in real life but fun to watch on BeamNG.

The first time the ai starts it's always glitchy, solution is start a sec then pause reset everything they will work just well

Yeah I have noticed it too that the first time there's always some strange behavior but second and every next time it always works properly. Idk why.

I remember when we once drove small leg powered gokarts which had their brakes broken. After i noticed that i just shifted into reverse and pushed as hard as i could to break.

My home town had a destruction derby each year. They're used to be a race where they had three cars chained together. The front car steered, the middle car was the engine and the rear car was the brakes. They ran this in the figure 8 track but I always wondered what it would be like on an off road circuit. Would Beam NG allow this configuration?
That sounds like a interesting concept, I will look into it.
