Being the chosen reincarnation of ashura helps him in the war, but its stated that ashura chose naruto by hagoromo and naruto sensed his chakra recently in the war, he wasn't born as a reincarnation of ashura but more as a vessel for him. The edit is factual though, it goes either way.

Bleach dosent have charters it has plot devices with slight personification. 90% of the charters in bleach are either shallow or don’t do anything for a good reason or a reason at all. It's most important themes are death and trauma/survivors guilt which is shown through ichigo and his dead mom.
Bleach's story is about moving on from trauma of past events and try to live life normally and to the fullest even when the whole world depends on you.

Naruto starts well but falls, his story of being a nobody who can become someone important is poorly done, if it wasn't for Kurama he wouldn't have done much, it turns out he is part of a legendary clan, it turns out he is son of the fourth, the child of prophecy, the reincarnation of a god... the most total hypocresy and is very immature for important things.
Ichigo, on the other hand, isn't the most sensible about powers but he doesn't want to sell me anything crazy, he just wants to protect her loved ones and anyone who asks for help.
As a person he is much more mature and his personality is entertaining and finally..man.. visually he has a style that makes no sense.
Wdym poorly done? Naruto became somebody in the pain arc, yes without kurama be wouldn't be as strong but that's the point of his character, his reason to fight and his strength comes from the friends he's made. Him being the son of the 4th doesn't do shit, him being apart of the uzumaki clan doesn't do shit besides give him chakra, no one in the village acknowledges him for even being apart of the clan 💀.
Being the chosen reincarnation of ashura helps him in the war, but its stated that ashura chose naruto by hagoromo and naruto sensed his chakra recently in the war, he wasn't born as a reincarnation of ashura but more as a vessel for him.
