What I’ve realised the smudging, blending and then layering on top more of the oil pastels is what brings out the 3D effect and realism. Because in realise when you focus on the near object the background becomes blurred.
So beautiful, it’s really not easy to make the painting like real by oil pastel, you really inspired me much ❤️

I saw one guy paint a campfire in watercolour.. you have made a beautiful version with Oil Pastels. It looks as if the fire is glowing, it's amazing how you created that illusion of brightness through oil pastels.
