The only thing to note between the two is that cheaters are a problem in both, and Wildcard ignores them while facepunch doesn't.

I think that there is a psychological side where they can't handle being beaten so they presume you are cheating so they toggle to make it "fair". Similar behavior existed on world of warcraft for arena and rbgs.

Was a documentary done a bit back discussing why most players from china are hackers//cheaters. has to come down to the way they were raised. Have to be number one no matter what, use every tool and option available doesnt matter, just be number 1
@@thorn5061 I actually remember a video explaining this too. If there is tools or scripts, it's considered part of the game to them. Be the best regardless of methods. Really a culture difference.
This is also an excuse Camomo hears alot lol. Prob is once someone cheats they can never seem to go back to playing properly.

@@FireBeamAlot of them get banned all the time. But they just come back with new accounts. Facepunch are working on it. Better anticheat + more staff that will actively monitor the servers. Hope that works. All games have this issue seems like

That is because most cheaters can't handle the recoil even with aimbot and recoil scripts enabled.
It absolutely boggles my mind that situations like this are allowed to happen at all. The level of frustration that y’all must go through has to be insane.

Such a Great Story ! I had stopped playing rust a 6 months ago because the cheater thing had become insane . People flying around the map , flying up the side of bases , digging up random stashes ect.
Thank you for helping to bring the Light onto this massive Cheater Problem. Now we just have to have Face Punch find a Permeant way of keeping the cheaters from comming back ! 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺

20:27 I love this site right here. Every once in a while in rust videos I see a spot that looks like it would be real cool to build on. Sometimes I wish rust was a sandbox game so you could just build stuff in places like these without people ruining your fun. That's not what the game is really about though.
20:43 - 20:44 This is an example right here. I would want to try out building in this trench. It probably wouldn't be a very good base but it might be interesting. Imagine if you could build a base over the entire raised outcrop and have the trench as a secret basement.
Another example is cave bases. They have their pros and cons but they almost always LOOK really cool. Especially if you decorate them. Wood bases would look amazing from the textures but just one molotov or a few spears and maybe ten minutes and the entire base is practically gone.
