Please make more videos!!!!!! I am in a state of shock that there’s an Easy Dari, easily my favorite surprise of the day! I work with, and, to support Afghan people - I’m learning Dari for this reason 💚💝
I hope you know it's basically the same as Farsi. There are MANY farsi channels out there so a lot of resources for you. Dari has some minor differences which your friend can help with, but you're sorted with jusy farsi resources
The more languages there are, the better it is ! Thank you for always adding a few more new languages to the catalogue of Easy Languages. And Dari / Farsi is such an interesting language with awesome poetry and history that deserves to be known better. Still waiting forward to have Easy Hungarian back, and I really hope we will see Easy Finnish and Easy Georgian in the future !
@@chemitapeerezzz_98 Yes but the title of the video is “Easy Dari”, and the host is not speaking Dari. It is potentially misleading for viewers who are unfamiliar with the Persian language.
thank you so so so much for this!! please create a channel for easy Persian 🙏🏻 my pedar is from Iran and Dari/Farsi is my second mother tongue aside from German, I've never ever thought I'd be able to understand Afghans that well it's amazing
this is fantastic! please please please, do more easy dari videos! there is a huge lack of quality farsi and dari resources and i will be very happy to see more of this content
much love 🙏❤such a beautiful video ! Dari, farsi and oriental languages are very beautiful. I love making music using these beautiful languages! Keep up the good work. i have enjoyed that 🙏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
While it's exciting to see representation of Dari/Afghan Persian on Easy Languages, it has to be kept in mind that some people in this video have accents influenced by Iranian Persian. The host's accent as well as some turns of phrases she uses are strongly influenced by Iranian Persian. Of course it is not possible to speak of just one Dari/Afghan Persian, as accents differ regionally as well as according to the individual's level of education and exposure to other Persian-speaking communities, but a truly representative introduction to Dari/Afghan Persian should feature more typical accents/dialects. It is understandable that in the environment of émigré communities, Afghan Persian dialects merge and become more exposed to Iranian Persian due to the latter's dominance in the Persophone diaspora. It is then up to the team to select carefully interviewees.
With my limited knowledge of Persian, I felt like the lady at 2:10 had an accent that was less influenced by Iranian Persian. Also, unsure if I am noticing a dialectal use of میشه (mishe) that is different from Iranian Persian.
hey! since it's been a while, i was wondering if we could have an update on the status of easy dari. are you planning to do more of this in the future? thanks so much for this first episode and i hope to hear back from you!
Hi! Unfortunately, currently, we don't have any active co-producers to produce Easy Dari episodes on regular basis. Once we find a team, we will do our best to provide more Easy Dari content. 🙂
Interesting language! Personally I’m more interested in Pashto but nonetheless it’s very nice to see a language like this getting attention in this way, very useful and fun to watch
Wow nice to see an Afghani language feature on Easy language channel. Hope to see more of your videos and teach us everything there’s to know about Afghani language and culture. Cheers from India! 👍🏾
This is amazing. 5 years ago I was trying to learn Farsi, which was kind of troublesome trying to find information like this on the internet well captioned in both (this case Dari and English). Would have been amazing to have this early on those years haha. Also Ill keep learning just cuz of the interviewer 😍
4:32 Disappointing that the guy said he is forgetting about learning German because there are more Afghans around... that is not good! You should still make an effort to learn the language and integrate into German society, that is important and respectful.
Farsi is a dialect of Dari. You are all raised to believe that Dari is a dialect of Farsi. This is incorrect. Fars is far south east Iran… the Persians 2000 years ago spoke a completely different language. Dari spread from the region of Balkh to Tajikistan, parts of Uzbekistan and Iran

yes, it is similar, but the accents are different, sometimes very different depending on the specific regions. tajik has a lot more russian loan words and sometimes different ways of saying things. from farsi natives i have heard some say they understand it perfectly and others say it is kind of hard to understand. the tajik script is also cyrillic and not perso-arabic, as you might already know

I really appreciate the outreach Easy Languages has made to add videos in many lesser represented languages.
Iranian Farsi speaker here, I am always amazed by the phonetic beauty of Afghan Dari
Welcome to the Easy Languages family! 🥳
I liked the video and to know what Afghans living in Berlin think. 🤩🤩
Hope to see many more of your videos. 🤗
Cant believe Dari finally got added, my friend is from afganistan and I wanna give respect by learning his language.
I hope you know it's basically the same as Farsi. There are MANY farsi channels out there so a lot of resources for you. Dari has some minor differences which your friend can help with, but you're sorted with jusy farsi resources
Dari is the frasi of Afganistan, but for pride, Afganistan call dari as a language, not a dialect.

these many words are understandable by indians'
As a student of Iranian Farsi, this is my 1st time hearing Dari! So cool
This is an awesome video and I applaud Easy Languages. However, the host is not speaking Dari. She is speaking the Iranian dialect of Farsi.
Isn't it the same language?

Or Afghan Persian for instance ?
I've been waiting for this video for a long time

It sounds similar to the bulgarian word for where, which is "къде"
Dari Languec altirani..❤

what's the difference between Dari and Farsi?
Dari is Persian spoken in Afghanistan, but Farsi is Persian spoken in Iran. It's like the difference between British and American English.

Why Germans take gypsie-like people? I dont get it. There are a lot of Latins, Asians, Europeans from Eastern Europe
Can you add Latin transliteration that makes this language easy!
