And so the line “I will retire to the Salton sea” can be implied as su!cide. “At the age of twenty three.” Pretty self explanatory, But for atsushi that would just be in five years. You can even choose to interpret(if you wish) “I may never be free” as from his past (or the ADA) and “I’m tired of your money” as him being tired of the ADA.
