    I also had gestational diabetes. Always injecting myself with insulin and taking drugs. I was also reporting my numbers daily to my doctor's then. Thank God it ended in praise. My baby girl is 2 years 4months now. Grace to you sis bae

    I thank God for the early recognition of this health issue and the prompt medical / maternity care .
    I thank God that you're in Canada where you can have access to adequate maternity care , good medications and professional support without taking a bank loan or looking for funds to pay huge hospital fees.
    Some pregnant women especially in Africa lost their lives and their babies because of lack of adequate health care services or mismanagement especially during pregnancy and delivery.
    We thank God for His faithfulness, grace and mercy upon you and your family.
    God will be with you, your caring husband and your handsome baby boy, AMEN. Congratulations to the entire family.

    Still continue being diet & health conscious. Because GDM sometimes leads to Pre DM and / or DM itself.
    Welldone dear.
    Congratulations to you and every member of the family.

    Congratulations, it is tough with all the health instructions but good to keep watch on your diet and lifestyle. Gestational diabetes is a pointer to development of future Type 2 diabetes which is non-insulin dependent. Take care of yourself

    I had GDM too. Infact my EDD was around the time you gave birth too. Mine was not properly controlled because I was scared of taking insulin jabs. My baby was too big cos of the GDM and he had to be brought out at 32 weeks in January. It was not a funny experience cos he had to stay in NICU for about 10 days. He is fine now though and doing well. Thank God you urs was properly controlled and you carried to full term. Congratulations once again

    Aww… you’re over this! As someone who’s managed gestational diabetes patients, it’s not easy. The constant glucose checks, diet change.
    Pls continue to get at A1c every year at least as GD has been linked to developing type 2 diabetes in the future.

    Thanks for sharing your story. 1 advice though, start your day with protein-rich foods- plain Greek yoghurt with berries, boiled eggs, nuts, Caesar salad without dressing, etc. That will keep your blood sugar levels stable. Bread is a No-no, pls stay away from it for now. You are healed in Jesus name amen 🙏

    • @TheStalwartLovers
      @TheStalwartLovers  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It's gestational diabetes. It is only during pregnancy. After you deliver you are fine and I have delivered. Also there are different types of bread. The bread you saw is appropriate for my diet at that time.
