My opinion, Coleman 502 is the best [not for backpackers] single-burner and just any old coleman "suitcase' 2-3 burner. They will run great on white-gas [coleman fuel], UNleaded auto gas, and with a bit of work, even kerosene.
Yes, the 502 is an awesome stove I Own two of them, but as an all-rounder you could not beat the Coleman Peak 1 400 stove, I Own almost all the different Coleman stove models including many dubble burners, they are all great stoves, but the Peak 1 400 is definitely my favorite and I find is always reliable, this conclusion has come from many expeditions and much use of many stoves 😂
That's the best way, you want to be 100% sure I'm still not sure what is the best dubble burner, I would need to own quite a few more including a gold bond, still can't make my mind up about what lantern is the best ever, never mind I'm sure I will work it out one day, but as far as single burner stoves go I don't think there are many coleman stoves I don't own so hence my conclusion 😉 😊
