In this comeback, I agree with the uploader, Mashiro would be the last.

I love that Chaehyun is always overly feminine in her moves, I mean her aura ir really over feminine when she is next to Hikaru that has masculine aura they really look good. Also all girls nailed props to Hikaru her expressions are everything, she is one of the best 4rth gen dancers for sure also this is really Yujin, Bahiyyih, Mashiro and Hikaru era... they are shining this is this 4 era, Xiaoting always shines too, how can she be switch between concepts so well? Sorry for bumping in, have you seen dayeon's vlog dance? I think that is her best performance, even more than ice cream (which needed to add some idol dance moves) and similar to purr level. Dayeon = groove 😂
For chaehyun I think 1) continuously danced to intense choreo since debut (kep1er choreo except b-sides & this comeback & pool party are exhausting), while SM is not that good for dance training (jyp is much better 😂) and also she's not trained as dancer in SM but vocalist so the dance she did in SM probably not that difficult, also many members excellent in dance probably teach the other members too, 2) she suits elegant / cute / idol dancing much more than girl crush / open style

My baby Mashiro was super tired during the Up promotions, so she wasn't able to give it her all. Hikaru, on the other hand, she's super energetic and flawless!!! I'm so proud of them!
Yeseo has always been my favorite dancer in Kep1er, so glad to see her dance skills are getting recognition this comeback. During debut so many people ranked her out of the top 5 and even now some people don’t think she deserved to be in the small group doing the second part of the dance break.
Well that's because she unlike other members has famous background not many fans defense for her 😢, no hate to other members I'm OT9 but, yeseo not unique nationality (Japanese / Chinese) in kep1er & not big 3 trainees with TV appearance & not from mid-sized good charting company, but maknae & from nugu group can't loudly defense to the fans of members less skilled than her they refuse to acknowledge ability of yeseo 😢 Also can't help either when compare her with those dance better than her, mostly have unique dance genre outside of kpop dancing, like yeseo only good at kpop idol dancing but she's not No. 1 but hikaru, xiaoting kpop dance level slightly inferior to yeseo but professional in other genre of dancing (ballroom elegance), same can be said to dayeon and youngeun who danced much better in feminine open style (best groove in kep1er) and boy group dance respectively…
@@dhy0114 Yeah, Yeseo has been my top pick for GP999 since the first episode and it was so stressful to help her with voting because she wasn’t as popular and us kkangjidans had to work very hard. It’s just that in the show they highlighted other contestants dance skill a lot, like Hikaru getting a lot of screen time for dance and Dayeon choreographing, but the show gave her no credit for her ‘Fate’ performance even though she was center and had amazing skills in it. I think if the show gave her more screen time her dance would be a lot more recognized.

I kinda agree with everything, Hikaru did this choreo so well and transpassing happines by her moves and facials. Also the dance line in general (-Yujin) improoved a lot! Yujin is still pretty good, but now in this choreo she is kinda at the same level as the sub dancers bc they improoved af since wa da da, and I get why they did.
I realized something, I know yujin has a lot of solo stans , I like her too she’s great , but some people rank her in top 4 when even in this choreography you can see that her lines are not as dynamic , extended or sharp as some other members , this doesn’t mean she’s bad , she’s a great dancer but don’t rank her higher just because you like her (this doesn’t apply to this video it’s just something I noticed within ranking )
Chaehyun isn't a bad dancer. It's because she surrounded by great dancer. She just happy with her performance and LOOK happy that makes everything LOOK easy. Btw she doing great and not the weakest dancer in the group for me.

I don't like when it's randomly given, because they might be some biases into it (not you, but I've seen some vids) Anyways, I agree with the order of the list. Hikaru stands very strong as always. I never really thought that Dayeon had the best musicality in the group. I somehow think that 9.0 is a little bit high for her, but it's your ranking :) Youngeun does in fact shine more in masculine and powerful centered choreography, but I think she adapts well into feminine choreography (we can see that she adjusts her execution as she highlights her hips to fit the feminine and sassy style, but I get what you mean). The point you gave her (8.6) fits her perfectly Xiaoting: I personally don't think her isolations are that good. Yes she is sharp and all, but it looks like she can't fully isolate her body (this is just from my experience after analyzing her Purr performance + up! ). But I also gave her the same score (or 8.1, but it's not fully set) Yeseo: looks pretty accurate to me :) But what score did you give her?

Both have great body control. Chaehyun and Bahiyyih are tied. Mashiro is last imo To make it easier: 1. Hikaru 2. Dayeon/Youngeun 3. Xiaoting/Yeseo 4. Yujin 5. Chaehyun/Bahiyyih 6. Mashiro

About that dancer ranking youngeun over dayeon (I agree dayeon youngeun tied), I think that's because some of the dayeon's strength have not yet showed in debut era. Dayeon predebut clips are quite bad, stiff and no groove, but then dayeon showed great groove in purr and her vlog (loved her "Tie a cherry") and dance much better than idol dancing lol, youngeun also I think she dances boy group choreo better than idol dancing.

@@doll6816 Chaehyun is noticeably better than Bahiyyih and Mashiro. People only rank her last because she is the main vocalist. Many dance analysts (not just this channel) have placed her above those two and sometimes Yujin. I recommend you watch some of Chaehyun's pre debut dance videos to get a better sense of her dance skills. She's not top6 or top5 in my opinion. But I would definitely say she is around 7 or 8 depending on choreo. Even in thos choreo one of the clear strengths of Chaehyun in this choreo is the arm wave. Mashiro and Bahiyyih perform it awkwardly and short cut it, while Chaehyun executes it in whole. Even this channel states that Chaehyun doesn't lack anything in particular maybe just energy. While Bahiyyih and Mashiro lack technical aspects like alignments, full execution, energy, and have awkward/out of place facials

If you're new here then just know that the rankings are based on this specific choreography, not a general dance ranking. AND one more thing: The given points are based on this dance practice, their stage fancams, and their studio choom fancams. I've been watching their fancams for a week (cause I had nothing better to do) so it should be pretty accurate. And as usual, let's talk about the girls :) Hikaru: Did not expect her to rank first for this choreo if I'm going to be honest myself. But what can I say. She has the cleanest footwork, strong arms, and eye for small details. Her musicality is good as always, but ngl I had some issues figuring out her timing during the most difficult legwork. But generally, great musicality Youngeun: I really thought she was going to rank first. She executes calmy and has great arm details. Her alignment could've been better. They weren't as clean as the others during the chorus part. - I just realized that I wrote her name wrong. No wonder why her name sounded unfamiliar Dayeon: Great body control. She got a natural bouncy coordination which helped her carry out the choreo. Nice Yeseo: What a lovely girl! Yeseo has so much enthusiasm and her energy is always high. She did some amazing upper body isolation and I'm impressed. Xiaoting: I noticed something about her. Even if she executes with consistent sharpness, her isolation seems to be a repetitive issue. That's probably why I find her coordination a bit weird (at times) Chaehyun: Is it only me, or is she glowing? She stood out the most to me in this cb. The thing about Chaehyun is that, I never find her execution weird at all. She always executes calmy and it's hard to figure out her strength and weaknesses at times. For example, her timing isn't bad, but since she shortcuts (esp. her leg movement), she sometimes fall out of timing. It's always difficult to analyze her. Yujin: despite her low ranking, she always shine with her bright energy. But her coordination combined w/weird arm and legs placement, makes her execution questionable at times. Bahiyyih: Honestly, I don't think she was that bad, but she lacks details and proper movement. Mashiro: Mashiros biggest weakness is her timing (and shortcutting her steps)
@@jeyd5339 sure :) Yujin skips most of the footworks which affected her timing. I didn't want to deduct too much points in musicality since she captures the beat pretty well, but again she shortcuts. Lacks overall body strength (esp. arms and core, but mostly her arms) + stiff torso. But her biggest weakness in my opinion are Coordination and alignment (I use body placement as a synonym) and the way she executes seems to be unfitting or unnatural. Let's take an example. Watch the difference between Hikaru and Yujin during Hikarus first rap part (you can't see Yujin on my video, so watch this one instead th-cam.com/video/xDLT3qavL5o/w-d-xo.html . Timestamp: 0:30 )) It's not only her body placement, but look how loose and wobbly the execution turned out to be. Basing this on my judgementbut the reason why hiyyih always gets a bad score on rankings is that the rest and strong sharp dancers whiler hers is more smooth and fluid. Makes for a great dancer as well but not in the general kep1er genre beacuse it makes her look "meh" when others are sharper and more full out looking
I also think she needs to put more energy in her dancing, there were times where some of her moves "seem" stiff. I noticed it because I've been watching too much of their Up tiktok challenges lol.

some xt and dy stans sleeping on hikaru’s dancing skills on tiktok just because she have no notable dance performances or covers outside of the ones in kep1er. there is no news about her before she joined gp999 and i think avex is really strict when it comes to their trainees' privacy. they even said hikaru is just praised because of her stage presence and facial expressions not knowing facial expressions and attitude also play a big part other than the technicalities in dancing. dance is a form of self-expression/performing arts where the goal is to express feelings/thoughts. so the lack of facial expression and attitude affects the performance. if there's not much attitude in dancing it will be hard to impress the audience.

For chaehyun I think 1) continuously danced to intense choreo since debut (kep1er choreo except b-sides & this comeback & pool party are exhausting), while SM is not that good for dance training (jyp is much better 😂) and also she's not trained as dancer in SM but vocalist so the dance she did in SM probably not that difficult, also many members excellent in dance probably teach the other members too, 2) she suits elegant / cute / idol dancing much more than girl crush / open style

Youngeun: she is such a rare case. I'm not familiar with her dance background, but her ability to adapt to different choreos is simply amazing. She's a groovy dancer with a big potential in open style, more specifically in the girly femme hip hop aspect.

My baby Mashiro was super tired during the Up promotions, so she wasn't able to give it her all. Hikaru, on the other hand, she's super energetic and flawless!!! I'm so proud of them!
Yeseo has always been my favorite dancer in Kep1er, so glad to see her dance skills are getting recognition this comeback. During debut so many people ranked her out of the top 5 and even now some people don’t think she deserved to be in the small group doing the second part of the dance break.
Well that's because she unlike other members has famous background not many fans defense for her 😢, no hate to other members I'm OT9 but, yeseo not unique nationality (Japanese / Chinese) in kep1er & not big 3 trainees with TV appearance & not from mid-sized good charting company, but maknae & from nugu group can't loudly defense to the fans of members less skilled than her they refuse to acknowledge ability of yeseo 😢
Also can't help either when compare her with those dance better than her, mostly have unique dance genre outside of kpop dancing, like yeseo only good at kpop idol dancing but she's not No. 1 but hikaru, xiaoting kpop dance level slightly inferior to yeseo but professional in other genre of dancing (ballroom elegance), same can be said to dayeon and youngeun who danced much better in feminine open style (best groove in kep1er) and boy group dance respectively…
@@dhy0114 Yeah, Yeseo has been my top pick for GP999 since the first episode and it was so stressful to help her with voting because she wasn’t as popular and us kkangjidans had to work very hard. It’s just that in the show they highlighted other contestants dance skill a lot, like Hikaru getting a lot of screen time for dance and Dayeon choreographing, but the show gave her no credit for her ‘Fate’ performance even though she was center and had amazing skills in it. I think if the show gave her more screen time her dance would be a lot more recognized.

According to this channel, kddd, Felix prism, etc, actually Yeseo absolutely deserves to be in the 5-member dance breaks (actually the 5 selected are exactly the top 5 in kep1er dance skills), only kpop dancing then Yeseo is No. 4, counting also other dance genre then also includes XT
I kinda agree with everything, Hikaru did this choreo so well and transpassing happines by her moves and facials. Also the dance line in general (-Yujin) improoved a lot! Yujin is still pretty good, but now in this choreo she is kinda at the same level as the sub dancers bc they improoved af since wa da da, and I get why they did.
Youngeun is such a total slayer ❤️ her dancing style is my favorite in Kep1er, she's always so energetic and her moves are so satisfying to watch!

I realized something, I know yujin has a lot of solo stans , I like her too she’s great , but some people rank her in top 4 when even in this choreography you can see that her lines are not as dynamic , extended or sharp as some other members , this doesn’t mean she’s bad , she’s a great dancer but don’t rank her higher just because you like her (this doesn’t apply to this video it’s just something I noticed within ranking )

Chaehyun isn't a bad dancer. It's because she surrounded by great dancer. She just happy with her performance and LOOK happy that makes everything LOOK easy. Btw she doing great and not the weakest dancer in the group for me.
So i think now we got our dance line after watching their queendom performance and now up , wadada and mvsk performance i have got a little bit material so i have given them score and that will decide who will be in the dance line
1) Hikaru - one of the strongest member in female + open style choreography , very clean lines , solid lower area control and footworks, i am surprised she has short limbs but how she get all the leg isolation , musicality is great i think she has the second best musicality in group , expressions are fabulous she knows which emotion she needs , dynamics is also good for improvement upper body control is weak , stiff torso she needs to add some variation in her movement

2) daeyon - have the best musicality in kep1er, have sense of dynamics, have 4th best stage presence in kep1er, clean lines, solid upper body control, very clam isolations she have, have very bouncy texture and Grovee goes crazy for improvement stiff torso , lower area control is not good , needs to extend some movements

3) youngyen - have the third best technique in open style in kep1er, clean arm lines, footworks are good,have sense of grove , musicality is also good , upper body control is really good , able to add hits in her movement , very capatative performer , very clam isolations for improvement she is the weakest member in kep1er in female or idol choreograhy ( lack of versatility ), stiff torso almost all kep1er members have these weakness, needs to work in fluidity, she needs to add some body extensions

4) Xiaoting - have great musicality, has best sense of shape in kep1er , i am surprised that how she can control her limbs and can create sharp leg angles , pretty good isolation, having the best natural alignment in group , have the best stage presence in kep1er , have the ability to change her expressions, arm lines are also clear for improvement just like youngyeon she lacks versatility means she is good in contemporary styles while dancing to idol choreo she seems to be miss details, powerful movement look messy in her technique, stiff torso , need to add more strength although she can get chest pumps and pops but they are most likely weak ,

I never really thought that Dayeon had the best musicality in the group. I somehow think that 9.0 is a little bit high for her, but it's your ranking :)
Youngeun does in fact shine more in masculine and powerful centered choreography, but I think she adapts well into feminine choreography (we can see that she adjusts her execution as she highlights her hips to fit the feminine and sassy style, but I get what you mean). The point you gave her (8.6) fits her perfectly
Xiaoting: I personally don't think her isolations are that good. Yes she is sharp and all, but it looks like she can't fully isolate her body (this is just from my experience after analyzing her Purr performance + up! ). But I also gave her the same score (or 8.1, but it's not fully set)
Yeseo: looks pretty accurate to me :) But what score did you give her?

And the point which i have increased for Xiaoting is potential point cause in kep1er i can see Xiaoting has potential to get a good technique in open style or hip hop if she get trained correctly cause after watching purr performance that Xiaoting has the very much potential in open style that how she pulled the choreography of purr although it was not her style but she at least tried and the thing yeseo is below Xiaoting is cause of her angles , and lack of versatility if we go out of idol dancing for eg let's take a gp99 performance of Xiaoting and yeseo if you remember so they both have perform on contemporary dance in which Xiaoting seems to be very comfortable in the other hand yeseo was more focus on her facial and Xiaoting latin dance bg leads her to open style while in yeseo case i have seen that she is trained in idol dancing so that's why yeseo is below

About that dancer ranking youngeun over dayeon (I agree dayeon youngeun tied), I think that's because some of the dayeon's strength have not yet showed in debut era. Dayeon predebut clips are quite bad, stiff and no groove, but then dayeon showed great groove in purr and her vlog (loved her "Tie a cherry") and dance much better than idol dancing lol, youngeun also I think she dances boy group choreo better than idol dancing.
Thank you for not putting Chaehyun last!!! So many people place her last in dance rankings because she's a main vocal when she can actually dance fairly well. She's definitely not the best dancer in the group, but she's definitely not last.

@@doll6816 Chaehyun is noticeably better than Bahiyyih and Mashiro. People only rank her last because she is the main vocalist. Many dance analysts (not just this channel) have placed her above those two and sometimes Yujin. I recommend you watch some of Chaehyun's pre debut dance videos to get a better sense of her dance skills. She's not top6 or top5 in my opinion. But I would definitely say she is around 7 or 8 depending on choreo. Even in thos choreo one of the clear strengths of Chaehyun in this choreo is the arm wave. Mashiro and Bahiyyih perform it awkwardly and short cut it, while Chaehyun executes it in whole.
Even this channel states that Chaehyun doesn't lack anything in particular maybe just energy. While Bahiyyih and Mashiro lack technical aspects like alignments, full execution, energy, and have awkward/out of place facials

Hikaru: Did not expect her to rank first for this choreo if I'm going to be honest myself. But what can I say. She has the cleanest footwork, strong arms, and eye for small details. Her musicality is good as always, but ngl I had some issues figuring out her timing during the most difficult legwork. But generally, great musicality
Youngeun: I really thought she was going to rank first. She executes calmy and has great arm details. Her alignment could've been better. They weren't as clean as the others during the chorus part.

Dayeon: Great body control. She got a natural bouncy coordination which helped her carry out the choreo. Nice
Yeseo: What a lovely girl! Yeseo has so much enthusiasm and her energy is always high. She did some amazing upper body isolation and I'm impressed.
Xiaoting: I noticed something about her. Even if she executes with consistent sharpness, her isolation seems to be a repetitive issue. That's probably why I find her coordination a bit weird (at times)
Chaehyun: Is it only me, or is she glowing? She stood out the most to me in this cb. The thing about Chaehyun is that, I never find her execution weird at all. She always executes calmy and it's hard to figure out her strength and weaknesses at times. For example, her timing isn't bad, but since she shortcuts (esp. her leg movement), she sometimes fall out of timing. It's always difficult to analyze her.
Yujin: despite her low ranking, she always shine with her bright energy. But her coordination combined w/weird arm and legs placement, makes her execution questionable at times.
Bahiyyih: Honestly, I don't think she was that bad, but she lacks details and proper movement.
Mashiro: Mashiros biggest weakness is her timing (and shortcutting her steps)

Yujin skips most of the footworks which affected her timing. I didn't want to deduct too much points in musicality since she captures the beat pretty well, but again she shortcuts.
Lacks overall body strength (esp. arms and core, but mostly her arms) + stiff torso.
But her biggest weakness in my opinion are Coordination and alignment (I use body placement as a synonym) and the way she executes seems to be unfitting or unnatural. Let's take an example.

It's not only her body placement, but look how loose and wobbly the execution turned out to be.

Basing this on my judgementbut the reason why hiyyih always gets a bad score on rankings is that the rest and strong sharp dancers whiler hers is more smooth and fluid. Makes for a great dancer as well but not in the general kep1er genre beacuse it makes her look "meh" when others are sharper and more full out looking

some xt and dy stans sleeping on hikaru’s dancing skills on tiktok just because she have no notable dance performances or covers outside of the ones in kep1er. there is no news about her before she joined gp999 and i think avex is really strict when it comes to their trainees' privacy.
they even said hikaru is just praised because of her stage presence and facial expressions not knowing facial expressions and attitude also play a big part other than the technicalities in dancing. dance is a form of self-expression/performing arts where the goal is to express feelings/thoughts. so the lack of facial expression and attitude affects the performance. if there's not much attitude in dancing it will be hard to impress the audience.
