One last thing before I get to work practicing. Your smile, when you try on the circumference mid-way through, is the best part! In some way it answers all questions.
😁You know, this is a less than 5 minutes long video published years back and I still remember thinking only one thought while recording it - and it was not how to make this crown. I already memorized every step by heart. The thing that makes me smile was the thought of how simple it would be to make the same sculpture for every one after I publish this video - no one would ever guess how much time I spent figuring out how to make it, how many balloons I popped in the process. How happy and proud I was when I made that crown for the first time and tried it on my baby boy - thinking of those things make make me smile even now 🙂
круто! Спасибо за подсказку по креплению, никогда бы не догадалась сделать сначала крепление на конце шара, и лишь затем переходить к середине. Это очень ценная информация!
+Balloon Sage Years back I blew about 10 zillion balloons before I learn how to make it :) well, it pays back nicely on each birthday party I did since then (one big crown for the host of the party and one balloon crown for everyone else! And after all it is not hard to make - enjoy it :))
Hey, if ya can’t stand the music, just turn the damn sound down ~ it’s all visual anyway and nothing is spoken ~ Duh!!!! (Good job on the crown. Like the innovation!
Поздравляю! и не много завидую - это удивительное замечательное чувство радости и удовлетворённости! оно приходит к нам только в особые, редкие минуты - жизнь состоит из таких минут полного удовлетворения! Ух, как мне хочется пережить их побольше!
Aha - I have text explanations with pictures for each video on my blog (links in description to the video). Here is the link for this sculpture: balloonotherapy.blogspot.com/2016/02/one-balloon-crown.html
Are you kidding me?! I am Russian! English is my second (actually the 4th) language. Please comment in any language - I will translate even if I don't know the language :) I really appreciate your comments!
I would like to be abe to learn this crown but following is nearly impossible. Three sizes, right? where do you connect the second row? And the issue with balloon length having to be perfect is another problem. Can you help?
Balloon length is never perfect - balloons made by the same manufactory often vary. That is not an issue. You can adjust the length of the flat tail by twisting each bubble less or more (literally twisting each bubble with less or more twists/turns). Learning to make a new sculpture often is challenging for many people. You are not alone in that 🙂 I personally prefer to look and follow instructions made in the old fashioned ways - step by step pictures. Perhaps it would be easier for you too. In the bottom of the description to my videos I put a link to my blogposts. Here is the one you may try to follow for making this sculpture: balloonotherapy.blogspot.com/2016/02/one-balloon-crown.html Have fun and happy twisting 🙂
You go ahead and inflate your balloons as much as you need them. That is the right way. And I do whichever way it works for me, because.... you know - that is the right way for me :)
To keep bubbles from untwisting you have to hold the first and the last bubbles of any chain of bubbles until you lock the first and the last bubbles. It may sound more complicated then it is ;) Just watch how I hold bubbles in the video. I hold the first bubble with my pinky finger while I twist other bubbles using my other fingers. Use whatever fingers or any other parts of body (seriously) you are comfortable to do it with.
It is true that some balloons longer than others. However, it's up to you how much to inflate the balloon. It's up to you how many times to twist each bubble. It affects how much of flat tail you will have at the end. And it affects the end result. So...one have to practice to find what works the best. All the best on your adventure! Happy holidays to you and your family!!

Starting at the end because you weren't sure how much you had left for the two last spikes was so smart! I never thought about that!
Thank you very much!!

Sorry to say but your balloon is well overinflated. It should look soft and thinner
You go ahead and inflate your balloons as much as you need them. That is the right way. And I do whichever way it works for me, because.... you know - that is the right way for me :)
