Here's a trick for duo players. When you plan to use Phoveus, try to pick Akai also because with Akai's ult you can activate Phoveus ult and if you lock the enemy on wall, it will activate Phoveus' ult. So it's basically just unlimited ult spam for the entire duration.

@@shukriismail7475 U can actually dash without hitting something. You Just need to disable attack assist in the settings, that's why i don't even buy boots with wanwan. She's super fast with attack speed items.
And u didn't get baited by good wanwan. Good wanwan can activate ult with phovius in late game easily. Learned hard way though

same. i was stuck at mythic mythic v-iii for a few seasons and then things change when he made so many videos about strategies, items and tips about everything from map awareness to micro & macros a few years back. reached glory 2 seasons ago and been cruising to mythic with less effort ever since.
btw, assasin dave's "what pros never tell you" series is also good. he gave quite a few tips that I've seen beto did in his gameplay but never mention in any of his videos. there's also ML Guide.
Well im trying to get my smurf into mythic and i get teamed up with hopeless teamates. I'm not blaming i actually try to teach them what not to do POLITELY so that we can win, but i guess they can't read. Especially every core i get teamed up with all they know is farm and chase for kills even though it's a death sentence
The "dash" in MLBB is any movement or displacement executed by a swift move from one point to another. So, anything that moves like a dash (knock up, knock back, pull, push, drag, charge, etc.) will trigger Phoveus' ultimate, along with minus one second cooldown for every "dash" detected on his range. Many heroes have these kind of dash and displacement skill and anyone (ally or enemy) could trigger it. 😏
Correct term is blink but ok
The best about phoveus, he can combo with franco, atlas, ruby, luo yi, gatot, kagura, and so many hero that can drag or push enemy.

Though Phoveus is Ruby's nightmare, she might be a great ally for Phoveus. Ruby's pull effects trigger Phoveus's passive and ultimate.

Playing phoveus was really fun. I tried it on rank when there was a chou and wanwan on enemy team. Was doing pretty well in my lane but my teammates were losing on their lanes smh. And that chou learned his lesson after dying several times from me. In late game he was nowhere near me during teamfights, stayed out of my sight.
Lolita really does counter Chang'e only if they have games with her. In legend and below there's a chance that they pick lolita to counter but have like 1-3 games. In these cases it's so easy to bait shield with first skill then ult them and with new fire wand they melt pretty fast. It's so satisfying to get MVP Chang'e against a Lolita. Of course against Lolita that saves shield for Chang'e ult then it's pretty hard counter.
My first ever wanwan game was on legend III, and they picked Phoebus.
So there I was, watching tutorials, knowing I had to constantly dash, and there he was, killing me. Every. Single. Time.
Phoveus is so fun but the only limitation is he is either a 4th or last pick hero. Also you cant pick him if enemy picked esmeralda.

Phoveus is good but very situational fighter
Well, for laning, you 99% lose against esmeralda. So better u focus on the rotation and teamfight rather than laning against esmeralda, jst make sure you can defend your turret and lane
I rarely lose whenever I play Phoveus. It's such a heavenly feeling to play against Chou. He got tired and switched lanes and faced our Layla lmao But I don't do the damage build. I only use demon/arcane boots and CoD then the rest is defense items. Super tanky and still could kill but slower.
Actually Ive experienced that before but having too many dash heroes would make his ult unreliable as you could probably end up jumping away from the teamfight while the rest of teammates could potentially get a wipeout
A strange thing about Martis is that every skill of his,is considered a dash for Phoveus

Any movement that is not due to Movement Speed is considered dashing so Martis 2nd skill and ult are blinks so they trigger Phoveous
Same goes for Hilda
All her skills are dashing skills except for using Phase of Skill 1 (speed up)

Luo Yi and phoveous combo is absolutely nutty. She can activate your ult with her passive. You gotta play one of them as a roamer. Preferably luo Yi.

Thats because whenever phoveus uses ulti, we think that he can use it infinitely even if we stop dashing, so we just constantly dash to get away, not knowing that his ult still needs you to dash :V

I played one like this with AULUS while ago. I got far fewer kills because no one would initiate, so I got to be that guy, and then no one would clean up after I dropped the enemy health almost(!) to zero.
AULUS simply doesn't quite have what it takes to be a one man army.
Lately may game have been the same. I keep getting the same type of team the kind of team who just goes for the kills as soon as they meet the enemies and they'd always end up feeding. Even when I play tank the jungler/dps would be useless and when I go for mages or side laners they would always mess up my farm. And then they'd blame me for not participating in team fights like I would make a difference with no gold and no equipments.

In the first seconds of the game you should try to steal the enemy blue with the flameshot if you're on the bottom lane or try to flameshot the enemy mid from a distance if you're on the top lane. Just don't overstay in the side bush if they don't appear. If successful you can cripple the enemy jgl early farm or slow the enemy mid laner.

Benedetta is not death against phobeus but since phobeus ult give it's enemy area damage.. benedetta's teammate will be in trouble(not benedetta itself) she can go back in turret, immune some damage, and dodge phobeus attack since phobeus delay on his ult.
Yeah a good bene can escape his ult. But most can't cz it's hard to timing.

You can easily outplay Phoveus with Wan Wan late game, only early game will be problem, in the late game you'll have enough of attack speed to avoid his ult, while he's jumping on to you, you keep jumping away as well without taking any DMG, Phoveus can't do a thing to Wan Wan late game, if you OG Wan Wan and know how to play.
Btw did you notice that when someone dashes phoveos skills cd reduce to 1 sec,like that wanwan who keeps dashes when phoveos skills was on cooldown,i rarely read the description ever heroes but this was fun to know

He is easy to counter. Your team must have strong control hero and dash hero.
For example use Lancelot and Eudora. Lancelot dash infront of him and bate him to go inside bush. Then, Eudora just needs to wait inside the bush and finish him.

Phoveus is a pain in the ass for wanwan, especially during teamfight. I remember one game, I manage to pick wanwan (before the ult nerf), and our S3 help me by picking Phoveus. Just saying, the game was a breeze and ez win. So, a tip, if your team seems mostly have dash skill, pick phoveus so that your enemy have one less hard counter. That is if you have him lol. I'm saving my bp for Joy.
Phoveous as EXP lane then Minsithar as tank will be nightmare for enemies with dashes/blinks.
