Hey Mat - big ask here. I have a 9 yr old son. He is small in stature and we got him into gymnastics , he has a lot of energy! His ultimate goal is to be strong and do CrossFit . He wants to quit gymnastics because he doesn’t see himself getting stronger yet. Some words from you would go a very long way ! Hearing it from his parents is not working .
When you said “adequate time” between pieces of the regular HWPO program my heart laughed. Jokes aside, 2 plus decades of working out and I’ve never enjoyed a program more. Thanks!
@@echoespk I find that I can rush a bit between the lifts and accessory work by cutting down on the rest time. I know it’s not ideal but time is a huge factor and I want to keep doing the full program vs the 60 minute variation. So, I do what I have to in order to make it work for me.
I somewhat agree on the 1 hour 45 minute completion without bonus work. My problem is the accessory work they do eat up a lot of time if done correctly. For example if we are hitting 6*10 banded strict pull-ups how much rest do you recommend? 1:30 tops? Or do I rest until I am ready to go again. Thanks
I always go straight to the next accessory piece which is hitting a different muscle group, then back to pull ups, if makes sense? Saves a lot of time if you keep moving.
Tried to use the app to get the program and it doesn't work or show the true price compared to the website. Also the website portal to reset your password does work. Invest in a website and app manager because at this point a potential customer couldn't invest in your product due to poor technical support.

I've never managed to go faster than 2 hours. That also includes setup etc. Usually takes me 2:30
