I am trying to write a data mapping library with an accompanying compiler plugin and on my search for examples I also stumbled about Arrow Meta, and my curiosity lead me to Optics. But at the time, I could not make sense of the stuff I was reading about Optics. The explanation given in this episode clears up much of my confusion, so thanks for that :D Also, learning that Meta uses the old plugin API clears up some major confusion I had when comparing the stuff from the IR tutorial by Brian Norman to what Meta is doing. I didn't realize that they use different APIs... so that makes it two clarifications in one video. love it ^^
