really love watching your whole design process!! it’s not complicated but your attention to details is spectacular. i’m more into the film/video side of media, but i learned a lot in graphic designing while watching your videos.
This was such a great video overall!! I didn’t really like the logo at first when it was being created but the moment it was placed on the pictures(mock-ups) it looked perfect!! I definitely felt the vibe that you were talking about in the beginning of the video and it ended up being my favourite thing in the whole video. The green isn’t really to my taste but idk I think you did a great job!! Thanks for the lovely video!!❤️❤️❤️
Awesome work as usual! Curious, but is there any intent behind making the text of the big DO NOT DISTURB text white on a backdrop with lighter values? I've always been told that it obscures readability but if possible I'd love to gain some insight into it
The second one was more the “creative” one, but I definitely love to play around with legibility and all that. It’s more of a personal choice for me! Also I like to think about context, like if the hotel staff saw that sign they would know what it means. But definitely in a lot of scenarios readability is an important part of the design

How did you copy the shape of the do not disturb signs?
You can find reference photos and trace with the pen tool, or you can just make up the shape! I have videos on how to use the pen tool☺️
