This is a BTS Introduction, courtesy of ARMY..Enjoy (p.s sorry for the long post)
BTS is a 7 member group that normally is asocciated with Hip-hop and RnB, but they do mix genres often.
They are from a small entertainment company BigHit, which went bankruptcy to housing one of the most successful groups in Kpop. BTS literally started form nothing, and were hated and pushed down, being called a nugu (a group that will eventually disband). They wre basically the underdogs of the Kpop industry. They are big now because they didn't give up on their dreams and work really really hard, plus their passion was so intense that their fandom *ARMY* reflected the same amount of passion in supporting them, which created a very unique relationship between BTS and ARMY (its like family if not more). They are really open to the fans, humble and they didn't care what other people says about them, all they care about is their ARMY (and in vice versa).
They write and produce their own music and are pretty hands on, on all their albums, from the songs, to the message, concept and theme, and choreography. It is acctually very rare for companie to give theri Kpop groups the freedom to write their own.
BTS focuses on *Youth and the troubles of trasitioning into adulthood (metamorphasis)*. They also are very vocal about social and political issues, which is a very bold move for any Kpop artist, this is because Korea is a conservative culture and often choose to be quiet about social and political issues. They also have song about female empowerment. *Song examples: Am I Wrong, Baepsae, 21st Century Girls*. They don't normally write song about love and romance usually the "girl" or "she" they refer to isn't reaaly a girl and is more of just a repesentation, but they do have a few love songs.
Their concepts are always somehow connected to literature and art, for example the song *Blood, Sweat and Tears* is inspired form the book *Demian by Hermann Hesse *, which talks a bout the temptations of youth. Their song *Spring Day* isn't techinally centred on the book, but did make a refernce to the book *Omelas*; song actually is about the *Sewol Ferry Disaster* in 2014, where children died in a shipwreck and the song is in honor of all the families who lost their loved ones in the disaster.

First, i was like 'Okaaay' but now, BTS IS MY LIFE!
There is no "Lead singer" or whatsoever, this is not camila//fifth harmony and pussy cat dolls mess with only one member who stands out and always have to be the center of attention. Each member ( yes all SEVEN ) have each own designated positions in the group. 3 rappers and 4 singers which is one is the leader but he's not on the center point all the time. In kpop each members are given the equal opportunity to shine and be at the center stage but usually there is someone whose in charge with that position and he/she called the "Face of the group" other than being the center, he usually carries the group visually since being also the center means you are the most good looking in the bunch.
here are the names of the members in the group:
Rapmon: He's the leader and the main rapper ( the best one in rap ) he can fluently speak in english
Jin: Vocalist
Suga: Rapper ( the second best rapper )
J-hope: Rapper and Main dancer ( the best dancer out of the group )
Jimin: Vocalist and Dancer ( 2nd best singer and dancer )

Jungkook: the Golden Maknae ( korean word for the youngest and since he pretty much the all around member, he sing, dance and rap well ) He's also the "center"
They've been around for 5 years now, they debuted back in 2013, started with nothing and as nobodies in the kpop world. What made them unique from all groups is that they're very authentic, they write and produce their own songs plus their dorky personalities what made them love by so many people around the world. They just had a very successful US stadium leg tour this year. One in chicago, newark, nj and anaheim, cali, all sold out in seconds ( which I proudly attended myself ) They also won the Social Artist Award competing against JB, Selena Gomez, Shawn and Ariana Grande at Billboard Awards just this may and now they got the highest peak in the billboard chart by any kpop group ever. And btw Gurl "Music is Universal" you don't have to understand the lyrics for you not to enjoy it! I'm american and I've been bopping to kpop like forever. There's is so much fun with kpop and all you have to do is broaden your horizons to explores it >3

we all know that there is gonna be a mess or not good for a group that have only one person stand out. The group gonna be unstable relationship and be awkward. So, usually famous and long term kpop group rarely have that kind of situation as the company strive for more equal spotlight for each member(coz they want each member contribute money....rather than only one...haha) except that "center" usually are the most famous one that gonna have a bit more screentime.

They're korean from south korea lol and this reaction is um well what I don't like is that you don't finish the music videos so that means you don't know their music. I liked the video as soon as you said they dont all look the same. I think some the songs from their latest album might be your type. I highly recommend best of me ( a collab with the chainsmokers) , pied piper and dimple and if you are into hip hop then check out mic drop. Also save me is a very internationally loved song from them so I really recommend that one too. Btw you are really pretty. Rap Monster also known as Kim Namjoon is the only member who can fluently speak English. Rapmon is also the leader and BTS became a group because of Rap Monster. In bts there is 4 singers and 3 rappers but they all do everything including dance. Besides Rap Monster, J-hope and suga are the other rappers and Jungkook, Jimin,V and Jin are the singers

The point of a reaction is to say what I'm thinking. You don't have to watch if you don't like it! And yes I realize I said confused a lot.

It only looks like she is talking all the time because she edits the video that way. There are a ton of cuts in this video because she only wanted the interesting bits, which is fine, but the consequence is as you said. And I would also assume she edited down the videos to avoid copyright strikes against her channel.

Lots of people who watch and listen to BTS try to learn Korean so they can understand better, but then there are just losers like me who live off subtitles. Either way, they have good music and after listening to it for 100 times in a row you kind of memorize some of the lyrics to all of them depending on how devoted you are.

Hello, well I am about to tell you some things about BTS.
They are very unique group even in their own k-pop category they are quite different then other groups.
They write their own lyrics , they take part in composing and producing their songs.
You always can turn on the subtitles(CC button) for their songs or find lyric videos
(there are bunch of those for each and every BTS song out there).
They started as a hip-hop group but they grow a lot and their music grow with them.
If you are really interested in them you should start to watch all their music videos
from the very first debut song No More Dream MV then comes We are Bulletproof pt.2, N.O , Boy in luv , Danger ( I am throwing only the most popular and iconic ones)
after those there are HYYH series I need you -Original version19+ , Prologue, Run , Epilogue - Young Forever .Then Dope, Fire, Save me.
After that are the WINGS series from their most recent full album . In this series there are 7 short films .
Each one represent solo song of each member from the album(yes all of them have their own solo song on the album).
The short films are sort of a trailers for the songs as well as part of a concept of the album.
The WINGS concept is based on the book Demian by Hermann Hesse and it is all about growing up and walking out of your innocent youth faze to unknown and dangerous evil world of adulthood.
It is kind of a battle with your inner self. Going through all the stages of your consciousness shown in a very artistic and metaphoric way and this whole story started in their previous series of videos,
so yeah a lot to catch up to.There are thousands theories about all of this but what I am describing here is the base it is lied on.
The short films are going like this

and after all of this is there is time for Blood , Sweat and Tears MV.
Then you can watch also Spring Day and Not Today MV's and Japanese Version of Blood , Sweat and Tears MV.
I think those are the basics to know BTS music journey from 2013 until today.

I believe the problem with this video that has most armys on edge is that they don't necessarily get to see your full reaction on the video and on specific parts that they like. They basically like to see a raw reaction-it's absolutely okay to keep in the parts of the video where you're just staring at the screen and making comments here and there-where it's not heavily edited and only includes the commentary over the video. Plus, they're mostly paying attention to the video itself while you're reacting to it-it's like watching the video with another person. Another thing that may keep them on edge is the talking over the video. It is okay to make small comments here and there but giving your commentary during the video will make it seem like you're not paying thorough attention even though you most likely are but sometimes you miss things.

The more u watch them the more u will fall in love with them. Watch their interview and introductions to bts on TH-cam . RM speaks English fluently and Japanese. Jung kook is working on learning Korean. The rest of them is sort of spastic with what they do and don't know in english.

I like your honest reaction!! If you want too you can react to other boy groups like seventeen, exo or winner. Or girlgroups mamamoo, blackpink, twice or exid. There are also co-ed groups with boys and girls, I only know 2 tho xD akmu and kard, they're both dope! If you like rap I recommend watching the artist of AOMG and for R&B/hiphop vibes I love love love solo artist dean, he also has some songs that are all in english for example Im not sorry and love. Kpop has a lot of sides and it's fun to explore them, music should be fun imo!! Don't feel pressured though and don't mind the hate either, your reaction was very honest and fresh which I liked a lot. You're doing great, keep it up ;-)
