I’ve done some testing awhile ago, and this one extra fountain does ONE extremely powerful thing: it ALWAYS takes a more centered spot compared to others. If we take it to the extreme and go to the blackwater swamp, plague ALWAYS has 5 pools in corners and one in the middle. With ashen apple, she now has 2 pools in the middle. Therefore, instead of 1 in 6 chance of getting a good basekit corrupt pool, she has a 2/7.

It seems to me that pools’ spawns are tied to those of chests, and preferably spawn on the outer regions of the maps - and on certain maps like blackwater there’s a whole lot of them on the edges.
small correction: it actually goes up to 11/21, which is even more than 50% (there is 21 (7c2) possible pool spawn, and 11 of which has at least one corrupt in the middle) so all in all it does even more than you initially think

Clarifications on Ghostface: Drivers license specifices that the regression only applies once, if you stalk multiple survivors on a gen it only does 20% Also, outdoor security cameras reveal ALL survivors everywhere, not just outside your terror radius. If a survivor is right next to you, you will see them. The Monocular also was recently buffed to exhaust for 10 seconds instead of 5.

Hey Otz! This video is amazing. One thing I would love in addition (if there's ever a future video, similar to this), would be to show the in-game perk text on-screen when you start talking about a perk. You describe the perk really well every time, but it's still nice to be able to read exactly what the perk does :)
The only thing id probably change are moving the xenomorphs yellow addons that decrease turret range and increase resistance to turrets up to like B/C tier. Theyre so good, especially when used together. Youll never get burned out of runner mode unless survs set 2 turrets next to each other that also share LOS. At least from the games ive played, thats been my experience. Obviously, as you said, theyre all subject to change as theyre only in ptb right now, and we havent all played the killer as much as we have others.
You don’t know how much of a blessing these long videos are. I have bad problems with getting tired and sleeping. Having a 9h video without ads helps me sleep! I just started DBD and that’s how I found you. I don’t get bored but I don’t have to deal with finding a new video to sleep every 10-30 mins. Thank you 🙏🏾

Foot steps are insane, xenomorph has massive surveillance potential. You can just run underneath the map back and forth, you'll either hear a generator going off, footsteps going off, or healing going off. You can almost always find a chase immediately.

i found that nemesis zombie wristband addons are absolutely underrated, the information they give you and their harassing capability is incredible, i had many problems with zombie behaviour without them, often times walking past survivors and body blocking you instead, but these are honestly better than all others i found

the knight addon that increases patrol time can be amazing for "chess knight" where you just plop a guard on top of a high progress generator, and the survivors can't work on it without having someone take the guard for them
Finally another one of these, otz`s tierlist videos are working like a lullaby on me, and it seems like he`s delivered a nice 9.5 hours sleep for me through the recommendations. God bless this man
As someone who mains 5 killers and just started out, the addon lists for them helped me out quite a bit. And the ones for other killers i enjoy were also helpful
Having used the crew headset quite a bit, I think it’s a little undervalued. Shouldn’t use it by waiting in tunnels, but just when heading to a gen you passively gain so much more info.

Y E S Most awaited Otz video for me. I'm always looking forward to the Killer add-on since the meta is constantly changing and new Killers are being added. The explanations are always crystal clear which usually encourages me to try add-ons I may have never touched before. Big thanks for the humongous work, Otzilicious!
Hope to see a updated tier list soon, possibly when Vecna's addons get looked over on full release, so many addons have been changed and killers that have been tweaked and reworked.
Definitely agreed on Trapper's top two add-ons. Being able to carry all the traps from the get-go is a life saver. Paired with Corrupt Intervention, you save so much more time as a Trapper by not having to waste time collecting/setting up than you would have if you didn't have the Trapper Sack/Corrupt Intervention as a pairing. The amount of time it saved is super beneficial, and I'm so glad they introduced it during his add-on rework. You also nailed it on the fact that when paired with the Iridescent Stone, you can mitigate the unknown variable of pre-spawned traps opening in random, useless locations. If you barely place down any traps, you can guarantee re-spawning choke points for most of the game. You won't get away with not using many traps, though, but it still is a really great thing to keep in mind. A few more tweaks to maps, like more grass, and a small Trapper buff of some kind and I think he could easily be Mid-High B Tier.
9:02:22 it's 6 seconds, and as you pointed out in the current meta it is very good, i believe it's easily A tier, pair it with Soma photo and you basically steal the haste from them for yourself, that duo of addons combined elevate each other even further
Tar/Carrion is my bread and butter as an Artist main...can't count the number of snipes I've gotten purely thanks to the little extra swarm time or getting my power back just that little bit earlier. But Severed Hands and Bell is my favourite lil cheeky Artist combo bc making multiple people oblivious and then rolling up on them and watching them scatter like rats is hilarious and satisfying. Pretty much spot on with each add-on (and forgetting what half of them are called) and your little birb impressions warmed my Birdy main heart 🖤
You gotta love how the thunder picked up when talking about the doctor. Seems the doctor was actually outside Otz’s house looking for him with static blasts.
31:16 , I'd also like to add that while uncloaking, Wraith actually makes a crackling sound similar to a fire, which can give away his position. Granted, he has to be within around 4 meters of a survivor for that to be heard, but it's another sound to look out for. Oh, and on the Blind Warrior: Green, the window for a 'surprise attack' is surprisingly big. I've hit a survivor after what felt like 10 seconds and it still counted as a Surprise Attack.

I tested this myself a few days ago; if you start the phase from afar and get close they should NOT be able to tell you're close.

Having used the crew headset quite a bit, I think it’s a little undervalued. Shouldn’t use it by waiting in tunnels, but just when heading to a gen you passively gain so much more info.

Most awaited Otz video for me. I'm always looking forward to the Killer add-on since the meta is constantly changing and new Killers are being added. The explanations are always crystal clear which usually encourages me to try add-ons I may have never touched before.

Definitely agreed on Trapper's top two add-ons. Being able to carry all the traps from the get-go is a life saver. Paired with Corrupt Intervention, you save so much more time as a Trapper by not having to waste time collecting/setting up than you would have if you didn't have the Trapper Sack/Corrupt Intervention as a pairing. The amount of time it saved is super beneficial, and I'm so glad they introduced it during his add-on rework. You also nailed it on the fact that when paired with the Iridescent Stone, you can mitigate the unknown variable of pre-spawned traps opening in random, useless locations. If you barely place down any traps, you can guarantee re-spawning choke points for most of the game. You won't get away with not using many traps, though, but it still is a really great thing to keep in mind.
A few more tweaks to maps, like more grass, and a small Trapper buff of some kind and I think he could easily be Mid-High B Tier.

9:02:22 it's 6 seconds, and as you pointed out in the current meta it is very good, i believe it's easily A tier, pair it with Soma photo and you basically steal the haste from them for yourself, that duo of addons combined elevate each other even further
Tar/Carrion is my bread and butter as an Artist main...can't count the number of snipes I've gotten purely thanks to the little extra swarm time or getting my power back just that little bit earlier. But Severed Hands and Bell is my favourite lil cheeky Artist combo bc making multiple people oblivious and then rolling up on them and watching them scatter like rats is hilarious and satisfying. Pretty much spot on with each add-on (and forgetting what half of them are called) and your little birb impressions warmed my Birdy main heart 🖤
You gotta love how the thunder picked up when talking about the doctor. Seems the doctor was actually outside Otz’s house looking for him with static blasts.
31:16 , I'd also like to add that while uncloaking, Wraith actually makes a crackling sound similar to a fire, which can give away his position. Granted, he has to be within around 4 meters of a survivor for that to be heard, but it's another sound to look out for.
Oh, and on the Blind Warrior: Green, the window for a 'surprise attack' is surprisingly big. I've hit a survivor after what felt like 10 seconds and it still counted as a Surprise Attack.
