An explanation for the q-tip hack:
Any touch screen electronic uses the electricity from your body so you can use it (theres a lot of electricity in your body). When you wrap something with a cotton head with foil, then dip the cotton in water, the foil and water acts like a conductor, and absorbs the electricity from your body onto the cotton. That’s why it works. I tried it before and there are many ways of doing it. The only problem is that if you don’t have water, it won’t work, if you don’t have some sort of conducting metal, it won’t work, and of course, if you don’t have both, it won’t work.
