Dude former Mexican American marines are down there training people. You can't take that knowledge once you leave. And those people do it on their own. It's big money. They don't need the FARC, the Cartels contract everyone and they have the money to buy the best. It would be of no surprise to me if rogue former special forces were down there or up here training people. (Military service as a path to citizenship is not goodwill, but a weakness) Cuba is the heart and soul of communism, in latin America those foreign fighters have Russian training.
One example of gangs in the military was a Suereño who shot and k illed two officers in CA with an SKS he had under his rain pancho.
Edit: Andres Raya, was that marines name. And that happened in the 90s.

As someone who’s grown up in Vegas and SD, I’m glad someone is trying to expose this for everyone. I’ve been in and out of Baja dozens of times, I’ve been stopped at the border coming back and searched. I clearly am not a smuggler, it makes me wonder if that bait tactic wasn’t used on me. 😂 if you saw my truck you’d get it.
The sex trade is something he needs to expose as well. There are cartel “kids” recruiting girls in SD malls for various bs and they get grabbed and disappear forever. I’m sure it happens all across the southwest.

Well done on the interview. Very engaging. Funny story, I watched a “product” transfer yesterday. Just another day in south TX.

I have alot of time for Luis. The amount of negative comments about him are mind blowing.
People criticise him, but never acknowledge the fact that hes extremely brave for covering cartel news in the 1st place.
Hes risking his life for our sake. Its highly likely that he will, and already has, trodden on the toes of some really dangerous people with his journalism.
He sticks his neck out so we can stay informed. But people will still complain about his work.
I tell you what. If you want to leave a comment critcising luis. How about you move to Mexico and start reporting on the cartels. Only then will your comments hold any validity.

It's funny how people try to tie terrorists to llegal immigration, when historically the terrorists come from countries with good standing with the US who can send people legally for legal visas or can visit without a tourist visa. It almost never happens the terrorist have to go from ecuador or colombia, risk their lives and pay thousands of the dollars to cartels as part of terror plot. That part is so hilarious and comical. It's people who want to turn the border into a political issue. There are perhaps gangs but terrorist don't have the time or the money to do that.
