Would you switch your DJ software? Its a big commitment, but is it worth it? What do you love about your DJ software????

This is why i'm so glad I keep all of my music on my internal drive. Making the switch to DJay Pro was so much easier.

It really is easier to have your music internally. I just have way too much music which I could honestly pear down.

Wow... what a nightmare for u. VirtualDJ recognizes serato crates easily and imports them with their cues points. Djay Pro is still in that stages where they got room for improvements for me.

VDJ does recognize serato crates, which is nice.

Bro they almost had me but I can't live without the stem VOX fX echo out. Once they obtain this function I am ALL IN

They have a ton of really awesome effects, but I totally get your point.

Crazy story but sorta similar to mine. Years ago I was in between laptops, but I had a new 2018 iPad Pro and started using DJay on there. Shortly thereafter, they released Neural Mix and it was a wrap! I was doing a radio show on an FM frequency and the listeners were going crazy. On my laptop, I found the “Serato” crate on DJay Pro, so I just use that. I haven’t fully switched because DJay does not allow editing of the Serato crates. I just prep in Serato and play with DJay Pro AI.

DJay is a really sweet program. I’m still making new crates and getting my library put back together. I can’t wait to fully commit.

Brother THANK YOU for posting this! I like you use Serato with an external hard drive. Because it’s the work around of not having to buy a MacBook with the bigger price tag. I also wanted to try Algorithm Djay but this sounds like such a nightmare! Thank you for what you do for the Dj community. 👊🏼

Hmmm I would simply upload my music to a close and cut your crates down to music you actually play. Plus I stream a lot. Also put your songs on your computer so your songs load faster and it’s easy for the program to track it. Djay has a button you hit that finds all your crates and music. Worked for me in 10 seconds!

@@bboymac84 With your music stored internally it works great. However, an external drive causes some problems.

One of favorite features alone is the ability to login to tidal and beatsource seamlessly and add apple to that ability as well. If Serato ever got around to allowing this it would be a huge bonus.

Serato has tidal and beatsource/port, but no Apple Music. I’m in it for the neural mix.

I’d change but VDJ has direct streaming compatibility.. Djay pro does not…. and no stems from streaming Apple music and others. Not paying $20 for Tidal.
