That Chucky/Love palette is so rich in shades, I always love seeing it I'm been on a very low buy for a few years now, but I did pick up a palette on Ipsy shopper that was irresistibly priced: Ace Beaute's Classical Paradise, and it's such a gorgeous color story, with olives and golds and red/winey shades.
43 palettes?!! Holy cow! I only own 4 premade palettes and have 3 magnetic 12-pans of Sydney Grace singles. I like having a small collection, but I really enjoy seeing the big collections of others.
I have 120 single shimmer shades that i use in custom palettes and 4 palettes and i believe i have too much! Most of the single shades have pans in them so i'm actually really proud for using them 😅. I know normal people who hoard Makeup and have collections as influencers !
Hi Maaike it’s a lot😂, but I’m glad you enjoyed so many of them. I have bought two palettes this year so far😂- the ND Xenon and the Rom&nd darker one that made your top ten. I just haven’t been that excited about buying eyeshadow lately tbh as I enjoy quite a few of the things I have. I’m also liking a simple eye look with cream or liquid eyeshadow just now, but no doubt as the Winter palettes start to come out I will try a couple more😂. The cosmic brushes palette is still on my wishlist and I will probably buy that next, but I’m not someone who buys a ton of makeup in a month anyway. Best wishes x
I don't think I have a #1 favorite palette, so many good ones came out. Today (because it changes daily lol) I'd say it's a tie between my Nomad Ireland, Blend Bunny Machina, Natasha Denona Okavango, and Sigma Cool Neutrals. I'm sure there's a couple more I could add. So many good ones have just come out over the last couple years. It's a bit insane.

For me it’s the other way around, I have huge problems with eyeshadows creasing on me. And I have to say I like the color stories of gloss gods, not so much the gal on Jupiter though, somehow it’s so uninspiring to me idk. And gloss gods is one of those brands along with cosmic beauty, where I really need to put in a lot of work because their shimmers always crease heavily on me. And believe me, I am wishing soo much that they would work. On the other hand, I don’t know what it is for me about the Ensley Reign formula but I can get away with wearing their shimmers without using glitter glue and they wear perfect all day long. For me they are totally worth it. I guess everyone is different, even our oily eyelids get along with different brands I guess 😅 Sending lots of love to you!! 🫶🏻
Yes, makeup is so subjective. Just because one person loves something doesn't mean it will work for you. The Gal On Jupiter was supposed to look different, but the manufacter messed up the arrangement of the colors for the first batch.

@@FloatinginDreams Maaike, you know what you should try, if you haven’t bought it yet… the Kryptein Cosmetics Burnt Forest palette! It’s soo beautiful neutral with a twist / spicy neutrals… soo soo amazing special shades and very easy to work with. Every shade should work perfectly with a brush too, because the special shades are more on the dryer side they stay all day but are very impactful, great formula and quality, also the mattes. I believe it’s still available on Monolith. I even bought a backup because I love it so much 😅😍🤪
Maaike i don't believe you have many palettes for an youtuber ! I watch some who have collections for over 500 pallettes ! I believe you, Kelly Grooch , Jessica Braun( she declutters and don't receive PR anymore ) don't have much Makeup! You are able to test everything and i like you buy only something you know you like , don't mind the comments !
Ive never seen anyone else talk badly about blend bunny or unearthly but cheap K brands are supposedly better.. ya i think ive heard enough here the views are completely backwards.. the good makeup is bad and apparently the bad makeup is now good..
Ever heard of makeup preferences being subjective and that I might just like other things than you do? Also, I never say I don't like the quality. There are just things in these palettes I don't like such as color stories or the way shades wear on the lids. Just because something is good quality doesn't mean it is right for everyone.
If they bring her joy, it's never a waste. Besides, I'm sure you buy, or have bought something you wanted that you may not have needed. What does it matter how other people spend their money? Does it affect you personally? I hope someday you are able to buy things you enjoy even though it may not be a necessity. When you can, you'll see that hobbies, especially ones that get the creative juices flowin, make life all the more exciting.

This is my opinion and 6 month buying this much just eyeshadow palette is too much . Wow already hit pan? That's insane. It takes me at least a year to hit pan in any shadow even if I use it every day.
