    Many people don't seem to realize that the most important thing for Boeing is its brand and reputation and technology accumulation over the years. Since Boeing chose to change to a ceo with a financial background, low cost and maximum profit have become the main concerns of the company. The final result will only cause Boeing's aviation safety and technology to be questioned by more and more people, and choosing to replace white skilled workers with Indian skilled workers will aggravate the insecurity of the aircraft. The US government should try to nationalize Boeing and re-train technical personnel instead of provoking China every day.😅😅😅😅

    The US manufacturing industry has been declining for decades. It's a mere shadow of its former self.
    GM is one example. Boeing is another. Let me add the shipbuilding industry...
    The US was once the shipbuilding masters of the world. Today, this industry has all but vanished. China's shipbuilding capacity is about 500 times greater than America's!!!!! That's right, 500 times.
    The US has practically no shipbuilding industry. No wonder China today has the world's largest navy, which continues to grow by leaps and bounds.

      That's a bit dark, I'd say, this isn't about revenge I don't think.
      This is about working as hard as you can, because China did have a lot to catch up, it's about leadership and vision, and I think millennia old wisdom thankfully is very much embedded in Confucianism of China. China accepted there were defeated once, humbled by the west, they went through starvation, extreme poverty, they purged their corrupt capitalists and still working on it, THAT is the single most important change, whereas other Capitalists nations have never reigned in their wealthy oligarchs, which is why, exploitations will continue to permeate their society, because in the west MONEY trumps over GOVT!

    One of the most important reasons for western decline is the effort to 'keep up with the Jones'. Ever more development, research, innovation etc . All this costs money which could be saved by sticking to older proven technology. It's not only the new product ,but new machines need to be built to produce them . The extra cost of using older products would be more than offset by the savings generated by the savings of developing of the new product. Moreover all the problems were sorted out already so it'll be a safe product.

      @Reporterfy Boeing failure has nothing to do with China having their aviation industry. you are just trying to spin anti china narative.
      failure is due to greed. sacrifices quality and employees care.
      Boeing has backlog orders for next 3 years, they just cant build fast enough, that is their problem..

    Also a win for Airbus (A320neo family) and Brazilian aerospace giant Embraer (E-Jets 2).
    Much of Boeing and Airbus’ long term suppliers are also doing business with COMAC and its co-parent AVIC (COMAC is also co-owned by other Chinese SOEs and private capital firms).
    One should even watch C929 (China’s answer to B787 Dreamliners and Airbus A330neos) and C939 (China’s answer to B777/777x and A350) in the years and decades to come.

    Boeing revenue split is approximately 60% commercial airplanes and 39% integrated defense systems. It may lose significant commercial airplane market share to China eventually, but Boeing will always survive as it is critical for US national security. It is possible that Boeing will ultimately file for bankruptcy reorganization protection to eliminate its liabilities (disaster for its common shareholders), but it will NEVER cease to exist as an entity.

    • @davidk6269

      @@punapeter Stop being naive and be realistic. Boeing is a close as it is possible to being a company that cannot go out of business in our lifetimes. The MIC is not in danger of "going away" in our lifetimes (sadly). If anything, the MIC is actually getting stronger as they can play upon the contrived fears of "Communist China", "expansionist" Russia, nuclear armed North Korea and "jihadist" Iran, etc. to whip the compliant and ignoant US masses into a fear-crazed frenzy that is willing to support more militarization.

    • @davidk6269
      @davidk6269 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@punapeter Please be realistic. Boeing is as close as humanly possible to being an enterprise that will never be allowed to go out of existence during our lifetimes. The MIC is no where near "going the way of Detroit." On the contrary, the MIC is actually getting stronger and more entrenched. With the current geopolitical chaos in the world (much of it caused by the US itself) the MIC will benefit from fanning the insecurities and fears of the US people with the "existential" threat posed by such supposed "evil" actors as: China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, etc. You should realistically expect MORE money to be thrown at the MIC given that the current global situation is conducive to scare mongering.
