I thought my wrist was cocked and locked, turns out it wasn’t. I would start cocked but then let it flop and then bring it back to cocked at contact - this created massive inconsistency. This is the absolute key to a consistent backhand. The stroke now feels like I’m doing less.
Kuerten's backhand was more aggressive than it needed to be, and his forehand just the opposite. That said, Sampras never won the French slam with his similar but more defensive backhand style.
Kuerten had the best backhand that I've ever seen in my life, to be honest it was a masterpiece. KUERTEN = LEGEND.
Excellent technique, the best. Thank you and Greetings from Mexico City.
Name of musical theme...please.

I miss Gustavo Kuerten's backhand
Hey buddy you forget the Gaudio's backhand
The hips do not stay sideways throughout the stroke. The very first clip shows the hips opening up before contact is made

Who's the guy from the very first clip, the one wearing the yellow shirt????
Raj Shah Phillip kohlschreiber
Daniel Mccain, great style and technique, very classical
Grip? Continental or Eastern?
Pros with the best 1-handed backhand topspin strokes use either an eastern backhand grip or semi-western backhand grip.
What is the name of the band/song in the video?
Letter Box - Hey Sailor
One thing that isn't mentioned is eyes always on the ball at impact.
