After nearly two years away from the channel the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe is back, getting an MOT, and a long drive while TheCarGuys answer your questions about this wonderful car.

As a collector of these vehicles from the 1990s .- the Silver Spirit, Seraph Bentley Brooklands etc, The best thing you can ever do to really look after these cars ,both old versions and new is to drive them as regularly as possible. Leave them sitting around in your garage is when the problems really start, They were made to be on the road, and used .Love old versions ,as they had so much personality and character....

My BRG with Tan 2010 Phantom Coupe was amazing, what i didnt like was 1. Its difficult to see the gear selected depending where the steering wheel is as the spokes can get in the way , The car is so quiet that if you do hear a squeek it becomes quite annoying. housed in the centre console behind a touch panel is the BMW i think its 7 series infotainment swivel and the touch panel can stick. My favourite memory is listening to Jazz while driving with the starlights on.. wafting along , amazying car and very rare 781 Coupes were made of which 124 were RHD of which 88 were UK Spec compared to 1914 dropheads made of which 296 were RHD , and uk 205 supplied.

Another aspect that makes sense with Rolls Royce going electric is that every RR owner has a big garage and the means to install a supercharger at home. So there won't be any worries about taking a Phantom out for a spin and not knowing where to recharge it.

Sorry Damian ,i would pick the Brooklands,first because the front facia in the Ghost looks like a old man squinting at the horizon.
Second because Jeremy Clarkson made me believe you can power drift a Brooklands until the tires explode,and that is veeery important in a hyper Luxury Sedan to me .

Very classy motor car, always loved the shape of these vehicles. Clearly driven by a gentleman! An individual who does not subscribe to the ego or road rage format of driving. This chap has a nice attitude and definitely deserves to be driving a Rolls Royce. That interior manages to look opulent but subtly so.

Properly gorgeous motor car. Piano black all over the interior would offend my OCD with dust marks and the need to keep it clean and not scratched.

Both the Roller and a new S class coupe are about the same price and the later comes nowhere close to the Phantom!! 👌👌🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 and the Rolls will grow older more gracefully....💎💎

Interesting video of the insight of a rare motorcar. It is a pity that the Phantom Coupe is no longer available in the Phantom 8 line up. The Wraith is nice but it doesn't feel classy as the Phantom coupe is.
I know that 10 Phantom coupe with a V16 engine were produced. Any details of it ?

It is a beautiful, elegant car. Its performance is identical to my Audi TT roadster but I can get up to 40mpg.
it must be possible to make your own sounds for the ones you don't like. may be an interesting video finding out whether that is doable
If push came to shove,the ghost edges it for me. That’s the 1st time I’ve seen the engine bay ,even that is handsome. The insider info for us peasants was priceless😊👍🏻

Great profile view and superb interior design - love the black and silver metal features and big steering wheel, and RR Silver Shadow a/c/heat controls(?). Ugly head on appearance compared to earlier models, typical BMW 'got it wrong' stuff, and EV will kill the Middle East/US buyer market? Very good video.

I find it odd that these cars are so expensive when new, that people are surprised it hasn't gone wrong. It's supposed to be good, and hasn't even done 10k. Its barely run in, it shouldn't have any problems!
I'm now chuffed that I can tell my dad that his 320d has the same annoying bong as a Rolls 🤣

I wish Rolls Royce could produce their Phantom Coupes again in 2022 rather than their more smaller Ghost Coupes because it doesn't look as good or as appealing. Thank God Rolls Royce still produce Phantom Saloons and its size does matter. Again Rolls Royce Ghost saloons doesn't look that impressive in comparison to the Phantoms.

How did you get so rich
Can't believe all these super expensive cars brake so much you would think the money these cars cost when new would do you a lifetime with just the normal services but allways seems to be problems like sticky buttons clutch problems into the thousands etc you would think costomers would only need to pay the big money once and have a car for life but at end of the day a vauxhall insignia would last just the same with hardly anything going to wrong and if it did would cost in the hundreds and at very worst the cost of a new one would be cheaper than whatever is wrong with your luxury car or supercars. Just don't understand why these special brands can keep getting away from the fact they're cars allways have problems and they build hardly any compered to Ford Etc. Not hating because I love super expensive cars but when you're paying so much why do they have so many problems?
