Really, REALLY glad and relieved you mentioned earplugs. I cannot for the life of me understand why many neglect them. Long-term hearing is way too important not to take for granted. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought last year they didn't allow tripods and selfie sticks into the main venue? I mean they allowed it in Camp EDC, but I'm pretty sure they were among the items prohibited in the festival proper. I personally don't see the issue with either, just thought I'd mention this. At the very least I plan on bringing my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 with me because they're sooooooooooo easy to handle. 🙂 Here's a few other things I'd highly recommend bringing to EDC: * 9) Sunscreen (Can't stress this enough! Sunscreen, Sunscreen, SUNSCREEN!!! I've seen many get inflicted with horrible sunburn at each EDC, and it's never fun. Don't take your skin for granted much like you're on top of never taking hearing for granted.) 10) A Wad Of Ones (If you plan on drinking, tipping is part of the culture in Las Vegas so you've got to be prepared to tip your bartenders) 11) Power Bank (There's a very high probability without access to one of those phone-charging lockers, your phone will run out of juice well before the end of any given night at EDC. So power banks to the rescue there) 12) (Sealed) Electrolyte Packs (Hydration is obviously a MUST at ANY festival, but so is electrolyte replenishment. I personally recommend PureBoost as my go-to because it not only offers the basics, but is also rich in antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins and other essential minerals. I say "sealed" because security won't allow any into the festival grounds that have already been opened) * And for Camp EDC specifically: * 13) Shower Shoes 14) Travel Pillow * Thanks again for all your content! When I fully accepted I would enjoy attending music festivals for my life, I embraced the idea of protecting my long term hearing and I hope to encourage others to do the same too! They probably are prohibited, but the security wasn't really enforcing it since mine was compact. Maybe they wouldn't let in a larger collapsible one, butttt I did see some people who had totems that were also tripods. Just be mindful if you've got a flag or other hanging stuff, there might just be someone over 7' tall that you're repeatedly hitting in the face so if I ask you to please watch where you're waving your totem, be chill and don't act like I said something about your mother. For me, I always keep a bottle of hand sanitizer hanging from my camel back...and not just for me. Aside from people asking how tall I am, people asking if they could use my sanitizer was a close 2nd. Also...as with any festival, beware the asian trains. They're fearless! Again, I'm 7'1" and the leader of a train looked straight at me, dropped his shoulder and charged with the whole train.
I feel you there, I'm sorry that other totem users aren't more mindful of our taller headliners. I'll definitely be emphasizing this in my upcoming guide for 2024 as well as a heads up for people leading trains/conga lines 😅.

I leave the packs in my bag each day, have not had issues with security in the past. Some things we do leave in the locker over night. Then the next day we go straight to the locker to pick up necessities 😊.
EDC Mexico isn’t in competition with Coachella or ultra and all the other festivals that happen relatively close to the location/date, plus they have clauses that keep them all from performing at all of them

just a question, are you bringing a new pack of wipes everyday or do you get a locker to leave it in overnight so you wont have to bring x3?
