also yeah, Libby does tend to get new stuff faster because we actually get to pick and choose what we buy for Libby! For Hoopla, we basically are buying a license to a big bundle, so Hoopla decides what shows up there.
I freaking love Libby! I must have saved hundreds if not thousands of dollars😂 and generally once I've read a book I don't want to buy it. So the ones I buy are heavily researched and bought discounted when I can, otherwise give me that library vibe!
So true!! Libby has saved me so much. I've been wanting to get more into only buying books after I've read and loved them so I know I'll actually have shelves full of books I love, but its a WIP 😂

putting like ten books on hold while i'm working at the library gives me the same high as a shopping spree and i didn't spend any money lol

LIBBY IS MY JAM!!! I still use my Houston library card and they have sooo much available on there, I miss that library system so much 😭
HECK YEAH and we love keeping up old library cards, although I think they only last 3 years before you have to renew them 😢
