People confuse loving the game with being blind to it's flaws. You call out the game because you love it because you want the flaws fixed. That's not unfair criticism, that's constructive feedback and communication. Appreciate you voicing your concerns Ash.
If you give people new dungeons, give them more energy, if you give people more summon évents, give them more shards. If you give new gear upgrade the gear capacity. If people are screaming for a change in minotaur, change it? Why is it so hard to get that if you don't treate people as people they will leave you.
If you want them to take you seriously stop asking for more stuff all the time. Game gives you too much stuff nowdays. It took me 1.5 years to beat all pve content with my f2p account and i was not very lucky. Now whats the point if everyone beats the game easily.?? I dont get it u ask for more resources all the time but u dont think the next day. Its a slow paced long term game if everyone beat it then they have to release new content every month and the game gonna be destoyed like every other game that did so. I think the game needs more quality of life changes and better event schedules etc. NOT more energy or new content every week. Who believes otherwise is an ignorant kid who just wants to beat the game fast to go play another and find new reasons to cry. simple af. 🎉🎉
I've watched your channel for a long time, Ash, and I know you try very hard to give Plarium the benefit of the doubt - so do I. When two otherwise positive, optimistic CCs make rant videos about Plarium in the same week, it tells you that RAID is truly missing the mark lately. If the comments here and on my videos are any measure - the player base feels the same way we do. Thank you for using your platform to speak out. Let's hope that Plarium listens and makes positive changes in the near future.
let's be more real. we're all in an abusive relationship with Capitalism. we should refrain from taking part in the whole damn system for a day. like a strike... a general strike you might say....
i missed 2 fusions (the rabbit and wixell) because of an update that took longer. The worst part is that they give players stamina, some multi battles and a clan boss key... thats not even close to the 25 fragments we missed
I can’t wait until the Raid CC community moves on to the next game. I enjoy Raid a lot, but Plarium does NOT do enough to earn my money. Too much gamba not enough “game”. It’s a shame.
Even if godforge is not as good on release I’d rather play a game that’s not as good with developers that actually care an are not sucking players dry an not giving enough supply’s In return I can’t wait for it to release plarium needs a wake up call
I'm new to Raid (for reference I got my day 57 login bonus today) and I'm still learning how it all works. The main thing I've noticed is how much grinding you have to do. Now I know that sounds like a dumb thing to say given the whole nature of free-to-play games but hear me out. I was amazed at how quickly you can progress at the start. I was never short of energy, always had silver to upgrade, and was having a great time. But then there's a sudden shift and there's dungeon levels that halt your progress, making it really hard to get gear to make your champions better, and in turn, making it suddenly really grindy. Looking back now I realise that they make all the campaign levels and upgrading shitty gear really cheap so it doesn't seem like a game you'll make to grind on too much, but then the higher level areas kick in and you realise just how predatory the game is. As for the events, I don't even bother going for the fragments. They're way too hard to get for someone who doesn't wanna pay for energy refills and gems.
RSL is the only game I have ever played where, three years into the game, the base level rewards for logins and tournaments was lower than at launch. It's absurd.
Most companies have loyalty programs that reward their customers for doing business with them for how ever so many years. Clearly Ukrainian companies don’t operate like that it seems
Since we’re ranting I’ll add my 2 cents: 1) CVC should ONLY once a month 2) if I’ve I have Lydia, I should not have to sit thru factions wars. Let alone twice. if I’ve completed it, why can’t I quick battle it???
You mean less Clan Vs Clan events ? Fk that. For any healthy player in a healthy clan that does not try to max out points in a dirty Pay to Win game, Clan vs Clan is just extra rewards for what you already do on a daily basis. I love getting that... 600 stamina(?), extra clan gold and other miscelaneous items by doing nothing different from what i already do.
You're 100% right. It's very predatory lately. The way these events are planned and a lot of the new content is made to suck everyone completely dry. Spend all these hard earned resources for little payoff in return.
Thor fusion was crazy easy on the money events, summons. This video is just playing to all the people who play this game a ton and love bitching about it at the same time.
I stopped playing (and spending) about 2 months ago... honestly, my life changed. I have more time, I dont want to smash my phone to the ground 3 times a day, I can wake up without worrying about what I missed, did I hit the CB with all my keys. AND more than anything, during CVC you dont have a life man... so yeah I got my life back, and I couldn't be happier!
im thinking about quitting for this reason, getting my time back, and this game is really predatory. i wish i never started, but they got me and i basically lost a lot of money. so it feels kind of super bad to spend so much and then straight up quit it is also still fun and tbh if i completely quit i probably wouldnt really know what to do with my time other than sleeping eating etc more
I've never bothered with fusions before, but even now they're beyond ridiculous. Plarium makes the threshold so narrow that you can't hardly miss a single event anymore. It's just too much stress for me. I don't care if I was going for Gnut or Armanz, no champion is worth that headache in my opinion.
100% agreed i'm usualy a competitor but in raid i just do what i want to do and i don't care anymore, they are toxic. The game is great in many ways but really toxic in many other ways. Never i'll give myself a headache for a game.
The Thor fusion was the first one I went for, I bought the daily gem pack as I was lacking, and if it wasnt for the maintenance with the 300 energy, I wouldnt have been able to complete it. I felt like just to finish it I had to neglect things irl, I dont play this game to be invested in it, I play it while Im doing other things, just to progress a little bit
@@PSNPaero86 Yeah it's really what I felt too. I'm 100% f2p but I had to spend the gems economy of 2 months in this fusion (which was my first fusion as well), and you need to be connected to the game almost everyday to grind that's crazy
You're so right. I'm an 'old' F2P-player. I have +15k energy, 15k gems and 100 mil silver. But I just can't be bothered most of the times. I do some CB, some Arena and Live Arena, but it feels like just too much to do all this shit. I still enjoy the game, but I ignore about 80% of the latest additions. Great video as always.
Is a huge step that one of most relevant CCs talk about this, lately they don't care anything, few months ago they at least respond the comments on social media saying : "We will address your suggestions to our development team" or something of this nature, but now they don't say nothing. Would be nice if more CCs join and make videos about this making a big Echo/noise about this issue, that would be the only way in that they will act.
I cant stop comparing Raid to Watcher. After 2 years in Raid I quit gotchas for about a year, then installed Watcher after seeing Ash in some commercial.Watcher is really generous, you get sooo many shards diamonds and other stuff just by playing the game, and fusions are a breeze, just follow the events and you will get the champ,no,stress, even if you are lvl 30-40 ftp there is no need to even pull shards,if you plan ahead. With backgroud battles daily stuff takes about half an hour(sent a team to farm dungeon, and another one to do guild boss). It just feels so much lighter and less demanding,I cant even Imagine plaing something heavy and frustrating like Raid ever again.
After coming from watching Fateless' latest video, they talk about communication from companies. How the lack of communication pisses off players but there are times when communication pisses off the player base just as bad. If i was a company I would prefer to communicate because then no one can say "there's a lack of communication" "they're being sneaky", communication is always the best thing in any situation.
What we've been seeing is "profit mode" in practice. We didn't know what that meant at the time or how it would manifest in-game, but I think it's pretty clear now that this level of monetization is their intended vision for the game from here on out.
The answer is simple; Patch Notes; Minotaur's Labyrinth has had all scrolls removed, will now drop books for Champion's skills; with Stage 15 being only Epic/Legendary books. Scrolls will now be earned as a Champion's level increases. Dungeon Divers events now reward points based on energy spent in any dungeon. Potion Keeps now have a low chance to reward Sacred/Void Shards. XP earned is no longer shared with max level champions. Energy cap increased to 250. Energy gained over time has also been increased. New dungeon; Feast Hall; The boss is a giant chicken that drops chickens and shards. Mercy system has had it's requirements halved. You'll gain mercy rates after 100 Ancient, 100 Void, and 6 Sacred. Fusion events/tournaments will now have the fusion materials at lower tiered reward stages. Each fusion event will have at least 250% of the requirements available over the course of a fusion. (For those of you who don't want to do the math; you'll have the ability to gain 2.5 copies of the fusion champion; which allows for the use of epics/fragments; and also allows for the ability to skip certain events, whether out of not wanting to do it, or having a life that requires more attention than a game.) lol. =)
@@Liania1 Yea, kuz we can all just pull 1 void shard and get Krisk or Acrizia, right? Clan Boss didn't kill the game. Wixwell didn't kill the game. Moot point is moot. In fact, you bring up the entirety of the point that Ash here makes; you shouldn't NEED to spend money to play the game, you should WANT to spend money to support it.
I absolutely love these patch notes, but I'd bet my Frozen Banshee that Plarium would never do a single thing on this list because they know that playing hard to get and the long grind and everlasting chase for the next good champ and crazy gear is what keeps players hooked, but they do need to throw us a bigger bone from time to time like Ash said or they're just going to continue losing players. They were "nice" about lowering the fusion fragment points during one of the first events to 1300 instead of the usual 2250, only to turn around and slap the hammer points on the summon rush at the end, which most of us were expecting something along the lines of triple the point requirements anyway so we weren't be too surprised at this move, just DISAPPOINTED. PAYRIUM JUST GIVE ME THOR'S 6* SOUL AND I WILL FORGET MOST OF THE BAD STUFF YOU'VE DONE TO ME.
My biggest problem with raid Shadow Legends is the cursed City. I've been stuck on the same map for months. I'm making plenty of progress with my champions but the limitations for that game mode are so absurd that all of the progress I've made is still basically nothing.
I’m kinda glad I’m still at that point in my raid career where I’m not even tempted to try and do these champion fusions or fragment chases to be dismayed by the antics plarium does with and around them.
It's good to hear you feel the same Ash. My list is: 1) Hydra Clash - Such a ridiculous event. You need to be level 45 to unlock it. I don't see how Plarium expects a level 45 to do 35-70 million damage to hydra to get any reward from Hydra Clash. 2) Minotaur - The stage 15 peak, lack of quick battles, and the minuscule amount of scrolls forcing it to take hours to grind a new set of masteries is ridiculous. Any new/mid game player takes well over a minute or two to clear Mino. Also doesn't help that people encouraging the mino grind are end game that can clear it in less than 30 seconds. 3) Books - I get they wanna push shards because it makes them the most money, but they would make way more if they made books more abundant. People would be more inclined to want more champs if books weren't so rare. 4) Campaign - Adding quick battle to campaign to run through your multibattles would save so much time. The more ways added to "speed up" runs will get people to spend more gems on multibattles or energy since they can rush it all 5) Summoning Events - The lack of transparency on 2x, 1+1, 10x, 15x, or guaranteed events puts extra anxiety on all players. I shouldn't have to check HH's site to see what they predict the next 2x event might be. Put out an actual schedule for these events so people can plan or spend to prepare for such events. It'd give more community interaction too since folks can plan shard parties or events. All of the choices plarium has made lately has pushed me to get my UNM team made so I can avoid having any temptations to spend money because they don't deserve it.
@@BryonLape That and maybe adding a small chance to get books to drop at the end of mino like how every dungeon can drop ancient shards. Would be beautiful
This asgard stuff is a nightmare SMH I got Thor but I'm sooooooo drained it'll be awhile until I can do another fusion and not even caring about hammer points.....they're getting ridiculous
Unfortunately, we live in a world. Whether it's a mobile company or a AAA gaming studio, the only thing that matters is profit and money. People want to make a change and have the company hear them then they have to stop giving that company money. Companies respond when their profits slow down.
All fair callouts. The last straw for me was after the community got behind them at the start of the Ukraine war, they went back to their predatory ways the moment they returned to office. Didn't even thank the community in any way for supporting them through it all.
I agree with the sentiments, Ash. But I feel like everything Plarium is doing for this game with its sneaky anticts is 100% purposeful and intended on their part, with them fully knowing it. I don't like to view anyone or any company this way, but I know that if a person or a company did something that they didn't intend or think about, they would offer some kind of public statement or apology so people do not get the wrong impression. The fact that there is never one of these for the stuff that matter to us, says everything we need to know.
Valid points about new players. One thing to note about consumable resources is that there are quite a few places that are level restricted, so even with all those resources, you can't immediately use all of them as a fresh account. On a different topic, it really doesn't justify how hard and how long it takes to get your first shard champion as a F2P player as a new player. There are also so many Legos out there that are stuck behind a 1% chance. So even if you get a Lego, you have hundreds upon hundreds to it be the one you need.
level restricted areas open far too soon and probably make the player feel worthless when they can't tackle doom tower as soon as it's accessible or 3vs3 (which nobody enjoys anyway)
Don't add levels to Mino (referring to 7:17). Change it so that everyone in the party (who need scrolls) gets scrolls. Everyone gets xp (who still need xp). So, same idea for scrolls and (possibly) it's an easy fix on their end. Also, **massively** increase the total amount of silver and scroll count for each champ (unlike xp). Maybe lock that last idea to the level 15, idk. What do you think? Edited to say: To your point at 12:05, they used to let us know these things ahead of time, at least according to Colred in his video you referred to. I do not have a fantastic memory, but what he says does ring a bell! Does anyone else agree? (Just curious).
Two things that really grinded my gears. 1. That summon rush with the hammer points really sent me to the shadow realm. 2. The Odin money chase tournament is crazy. It's bad enough that he's the only champ with a 40% spd lead, then they put him in the tournament. The gap is now grand canyon size
Great vid again Ash! You're like our Union Rep over here!! Here's my take aswell if I may... responsibilities, family, focusing on school, getting a promotion ect... Have been my main focus outside of this game for years. I try to work hard and Raid hard lol, seriously tho. BUT, BUT BUT life is taking more time, Raid seems to require more time every year aswell. I wouldn't mind a monthly pass to skip battles instantly, or more auto play. I don't mind a tedious game, but just don't have the time... It's like this... I now have the money to comfortably buy stuff, but I'm so busy it's like??? Plarium should slow down, it's like if you want to save up for a fusion nowadays, skip one or two to make sure you can do the titan event.... Idk. Loved this video tho, watched it 4 times, you're spot on
What I don't get, is that the Event Calendar and in-game news are supposed to be there to keep the player base informed. An honest assessment of what is coming down the road, really does help all of us (CCs included) to plan accordingly. ColRed was absolutely correct in his angry response that had Plarium been more forthcoming, sales would probably have INCREASED rather than having the community feeling the adverse effects of FOMO and throwing up their hands and/or walking away.
I came back about 4 months ago. I originally started in 2019 when the game was more tame and generous. They've continued to crank up the predatory practices to see what they can get away with. This event has left a sour note and I'm definitely not planning to spend any time soon.
There are tons of things that made me mad about the game compared to other gacha games, even old ones like Onmyoji that nobody here would even know that title. But there,on that game they give you monthly events that give a random Legendary unit, they stack you up with free energy at minimum 10.000 so you can farm for hours, they give you random gear pieces that you can buy with event points by just playing the game for 1 hour a day for 2 weeks during such events. The energy cap on most of the games is high enough that it refils fully in 24 hours, that'd be like 540 energy in Raid and once it fills you refill 2 times slower but have a stored energy that could go up to 3700 if you are away of the game for a week or something.
OG veteran players don’t really talk about the Great Hall anymore. Back when bots were around, everyone filled theirs up quickly. Now, with so many other things to do in the game, it just feels like too much effort.
As a free to play player that last summon rush was straight bull shit. Excuse the language, but you do a 2x chance for legendary champs on the first champion chase, so people (myself included) blow most sacreds then are left with no shards for that last summon rush and miss out on the hammer points for Thor awakenings. I have slowed down on Raid significantly and moved on to Watcher of Realms because I feel like raid is way too money hungry and it has turned me off from a game I’ve played for over 4 and half years. Great content as always Ash
At least with the fragment summon, if you are close, they'll sell you the fragments you need after all the events are over. I've missed the last two fusions by minimal amounts because of how much energy is needed for dungeon divers.
Not surprised. I honestly think they almost never listen. Have you seen their rewards for some of these tournaments. I have said this a million times but it is beyond a slap in the face. Especially for the global. Where is the tokens for the token trader? Where is the champs for the token trader? Where is the update on rewards for the market, bizarre, clan shop. They ARE THE TIGHTEST asses I have ever seen when it comes to rewards. I love the game too but I HATE Plarium. I can't wait till Godforge comes out.
I agree with you Ash. I dropped hundreds on this fusion but then I was attacked by a dog and was not on my phone to keep up with it. I'm seriously upset that all that time and money is wasted now. They should make at least another 2-4 opportunities to get there fusion. What a load of crap on Plarium. Apparently they don't have enough of a life where it affects the play.
They just added 9 new ways to milk money .. only this reason is every upgrade. You get energy paying, you get skill tomes paying, you get acensions to everything buying, you get all if you only pay.
Ash they don’t care it’s harsh to say but it’s true they got the money hungry bug so as long as whales keep spending they won’t change any thing ! This game is DYING
@danielm6871 you know it's still does. It is slow process due to new players but check statistics in app stores they do jot make as much as they used to....
The rant helped a bit. For those who missed the fusion deadline due to the technical issues they are willing to look into it. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻
Can't believe it took you this long to realize Plarium is milking you (all of us). Since day 1, Plarium has been massively predatory and uncaring of its players to levels never seen before in any other gacha game. I'm honestly surprised Raid has survived this long they way Plarium has managed it. Guess there are enough whales still blind to all the flaws and schemes to take your money that Plarium has carefully calculated.
Yeah paying off every TH-camr and their mother for their marketing tactics which straight up lied about what the game is wasn’t a red flag for people. Just saying I personally like turn based games like this but many the script plarium gives people made it seem like something more
15th primal opening nothing but rares, today today was the best primal shard! Bone night.. give me a damn break, I really don’t know why I spend so much time on this game to get nowhere..
I cannot say how many times I have mentioned minotaur as a thing to please fix so it's not such a middle finger at the players. Extra levels, super raids... I noticed they took the mino completion counter off the end of year account videos bc I loved mentioning I have more minotaur runs than all other dungeons combined.... every new champ that is worth building is a giant time sink. Alright let's run mino 150 to 200 times. Even with 20 sec runs it's such a waste of time.
I just started playing again and man the grind to get Thor was ridiculous. I managed to get him. But now with the far hammer events. I got nothing left. And I spent $150 to complete the Thor fusion. Love your channel Ash keep going. My son and I watch you all the time.
That last summon rush titan points thing was definitely bs. Slimy move for sure. My biggest issue is still how mythical and now unity champs are being handled. 2 years to hit mercy on primals for even end game players not buying shards. Whales and krakens literally have their own tier of champ. They already have faction bonuses, empowerment and blessings… as if that doesnt already give a massive advantage.. but they need an entire champ tier to themselves as a crutch. I stopped playing live arena once I hit gold 4, there’s no point.
The 25 fragment thing happened to me too! And I had to summon sacred and then the 25 shards didnt update in time so I went for all in and now I have 25 useless shards.. I guess Maud will be happy. not going for the souls.
I had all four epics, but was waiting for the champion training on the last day. I had something personal come up and forgot to log back in to fuse Thor at the end of the day, so now i have four lvl 50 of the epics. they're food now i guess. feels like a good time to take a break so i don't start to hate myself, lol.
I burned like 15K green shards between all the summons... so glad they put in the auto max level for common and uncommon's. this allowed me to save quite a few good shards.. it was torture though.
Just reading this makes me wanna quit, this is something i'll never do i can do 1K, but 15K? No way, i have farmed a lot of things in game but i prefere to farm veins in world of warcraft with Pvp on than this clicking and feeding 15K champs XD
meanwhile summoners war on 10 years without powercreep and lots of rewards for newbies to catch up. My 1 month account now is stronger in live arena than my 9 year account because of how easy it is if you know what you are doing and got a bit lucky. No need for demn dupes. This game is indeed very predatory and takes over ur life
This is the cycle perpetuated by Plarium. They deploy their FOMO tactics, the player base and CCs scream about how bad things are, then Plarium offers up something nice (ex. Ninja unvaulted), then we forget for a time how bad they are. I smell a "No-Dime-December" on the horizon.
i was just thinking about the new player experience; i noticed just how fucking CLUTTERED the Bastion is, even to the point where sometimes I can’t even navigate it despite having played for multiple years.
I can totally understand your gripes, makes sense. My gripes I hope Plarium addresses are; a lot more artifact storage, make the monthly campaign battles less than 500. There’s too much energy usage, especially when you have CvC and Champion events going at the same time.
A great rant Ash. I'm 6 months new. I still only 3 key NCB, to give a reference to progression point. Thor was my first attempt at a fusion. And I too missed it by one event, 25 fragments of Dyana. It came down 100% to falling short on the number of shards I could pull. Meaning not having enough gems. Meaning not spending. Getting these fusions is clearly critical for progression. Having legendaries is the only way to progress, since we all got Ninja for free, Loki for free, and whatever starter Lego we may get (I missed my 48hr window!). Sure my Apothecary and rare team is on-point and helps a lot but I simply can't even progress in arena (therefore unable to get Arbiter) without bigger teams. And Clan Boss UNM isn't possible without a ton of champ pull luck either. So my punchline is you are 100% right. I'm past being new here, I see the greed of the developers, and Thor made me even more likely to leave the game. Maybe I'll give it one more month to try to get my Clan Boss team better, but I think it's a lost cause when I can't pull legendaries and have bad luck on epics. Gasha RNG FTL!
Completely agree with you Ash! And all they needed to do was be honest about what the summon event was going to be ... everyone who plays Raid is in an abusive relationship to some degree ... we get used! And we stick around and complain cause we still love the game and the community that has been created around it. The one positive is watch the CC's go on rants the way the rest of us players wish we could ... we have some solace in you putting the word out about how we feel ... thanks for yet another great video!
As soon as I can no longer play this game free to play, I'm done. I will just keep playing until then. I went through the cycle with other games and it'll happen here at some point. I agree with you overall but unfortunately this is how the game industry is nowadays and I don't see it changing anytime soon. Drive up that FOMO! I have a chunk of legendaries that need to be built and experimented with. After Asgard, I'm probably done with fusions for a while.
Thanks for those true words Ash. For me im a little spender (around 50-100€/month) and i dont have a problem spending for those gotchagames. Thats what it is. But in the end its the points you mentioned, those sneeky backdoor moves, those missing quality of life things. Hope your words have a little more weight and Plarium may not drive the game against a wall. All the best for you guys out there from Germany!
100% agree with you. Also, to the point of your last video about siege, my clan cleared the enemy too fast for me to get an attack in until all I could do was hit a mana shrine rebattle, so I didn’t get any rewards this siege. That really sucks.
AMEN, BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(& THIS IS WHY I REFUSE TO SPEND ONE RED CENT ON THIS GAME) I literally have to two a few days break just to feel appreciated with this game. I mentioned in earlier episodes, I use a magnifer to even see the too numerous amount of warriors on a screen (contacted support, they did show me how to turn this mess off)-but I feel you about the intricacies of the game being screwed with.
They just don't care. I quit the game for 2 ish years over summoning frustration, cause I never got that dopamine, it was always rare after rare. Decided to give it another chance, dropped some money, still ended up with trash. I wanted to do this fusion but it takes an insane amount of resources I didn't have when I came back. I get that it's a game and they need to make money, but so many games do it better now as far as summoning income, the right amount of grinding, etc. Infinite Magicraid is a great example, I have never had a problem summoning in that game, only feeling like I needed to spend when I really wanted to reward the devs. Plarium needs to realize that other things are out there and their game has and will continue to be a meme because they do everything they can to alienate and screw their community, treating them as just another $ sign. This game would be insanely popular and alive if they would just adjust a few things but they are just too stubborn to do it.
100% agree, they do not look after long time players, they do not care about properly informing us of upcoming events, they don't care that fusions have zero room for error unless you're spending alot. I love this game but is getting so exhausting. On another topic Ash, have you tried Bloodstained? It is a spiritual successor to Castlevania. Great game!
Ash, sending love and good vibes to you too!! I feel your frustration. I think you nailed it when you talked about Plarium's greed and what appears to be their intentional silence on upcoming events just to increase spending. They create FOMO and hype to entice people to open their wallets. I feel like I am being led around by the nose and can't plan my gameplay strategically which is very frustrating. Thanks for sharing your feelings. I love watching ALL your videos. Be well.
Bro I really felt it, I am level 47 and I don’t have sht in the game yet, leveling up a champion to level 60 is like a whole day and an absurd amount of energy for me, and let’s not forget that we are talking about a champ might only work for some areas of the game, I been playing for 2 months and 2 weeks and that’s a long time investing hours every day to get nothing, I did 500K damage to Hydra and that gives nothing, I don’t have proper champs and it’s getting really frustrating!
I recently stopped playing mostly because i don't want to HAVE to spend money to play the game and progress to new content or new stuff when I play few hours nightly on PC while doing other stuff. I have kinda hit the point where I cannot complete harder content because I don't have the gear or heroes to do it and I cannot farm one because of the other and I basically was told be other players "just play and farm it out for 6 months you'll get there". That is honestly so demoralizing that I am basically stuck in place for 6 months unless I get REALLY lucky on a few pulls I will get here and there. Its more frustrating than anything that it feels like I am unable to make any meaningful progress. I get it, people who been playing for 4-5 years probably know how to do some things where to spend energy and etc but honestly I never know when to farm what dungeons when, PVP is pretty much trapped in silver because once you hit gold its 300-500k power groups. I don't know if some heroes I have are worth using or not, what I need to help complete content. Getting shards above mystery shards is like a miracle because I cannot do higher content that gives chances to potentially get some. So I am not able to summon on events let alone outside events to try and fill out a roster. I am rambling and I am sure to some these issues are not really problems if you play in a certain way but I get on, want to have fun and I ignore other peoples accounts because I won't reach their power in a month, two months, or even a year. But to spend 6 months to a year just go up a little is absurd to me. I dunno, I'm just frustrated that such a cool game has bummed me out to this point.
I got banned right after the fusion started for "exploiting the refund policy". Three days later, my account wasn't banned. But I missed 100 fragments, and there has been no way to get them. I would have had to get lucky on voids and pull the fragment champion. I was really mad. Today I realized there will be another and another and another "must have" champion soon.
@elfishmoss1457 I did. It took them 3 days to fix whatever the issue was. I did ask if there would be a way to get the fragments I was unable to get because I couldn't get into my account. The response was basically no because the events were already over, and I couldn't prove I would have completed them. They weren't going to retroactively give me the fragments even though I didn't do anything to deserve the ban. I couldn't exploit a refund I never asked for or received .
Well said. Great video. Felt like a podcast. Timing on the video couldn’t have been better. This made the gruesome traffic much much more enjoyable. Keep up with the great work. 👍
I couldn´t agree more. They keep pushing the limits to get good rewards in tournaments/events slowly but surely. I was so disappointed when I realized this last time they had the event with the prism crystals and they decided that we don´t get a single pull anymore for completing one event, but also added in a DD on top of that to get the other half. Edit: 195k subscribers now!? That´s crazy, I first reacted on that you´d gained from 200 to 250k subs, then just a couple of weeks ago 270k. That´s absolutely crazy. 🔥👍
Sad part is Plarium might add levels to mino but would end up like trying to run 25 shogun. Where you need a whole special set up or just buy the scrolls like they want you too.
I'm relatively new to Raid, been playing for a bit more than 6 months and most of what I learn was from guys like you, talking about the game, because the game is not very intuitive at all. But just during this time I have noticed how their greedy is making this game worse, raised points for tournaments, these shady things like hiding events or info so you don't really know how to plan, but the worst at all for me so far was the event dungeon with Odin, they hipped this event so much and the pin point is a interesting set but not game changer tbh, but when you see the rewards they are totally trash, maybe just crit dmg set is good enough to be there, like if it's a temporary dungeon why not make something everyone wants to go for? And after all of that if they keep going in this path, is just a matter of time for this game to die, cuz I wouldn't recommend to any friend of mine to play, the beginning is very slow and after you pass that part you face this kind of attitude from the company that manages, I will still keep playing but I have a feeling that if things keep that way I probably will quit soon.
Hey, I went for Thor's fusion and decided to do titan event for a 5s soul. But bro... You have totally right about that avalanche of events, that are happening in the game right now. It's just unbearable sometimes, it take so much resources and time. But I'm assuming that right after this madness they gonna sneak on with Freya's event immediately, when most of us are washed away from resources now. And I'm guessing that Odin is also far beyond my and others reach... I think that the specter of profit overshadowed common sense in plarium company.
The Clan seige update waste just a waste gives a way to farm skill tomes add more levels to minortar thats how I feel they are so much things they can do with the game
Sorry you missed Thor. I missed Armanz by a couple of fragments too. It really sucks that they don't let you make it up if you missed something. Also, totally agree that ALL dungeons should count towards dungeon diver points. Quick battle dungeons during dungeon divers & fusions so you don't have to race the clock to finish dungeon divers. Update the market to include brews and other things.
For me, as a casual (yet heavily time invested player), I see lots of good everywhere. Free stuff is available all the time. I never do fusions (too stressful to me in a game that gives you loads of ways to advance without fusion champions), and I don't worry about completing events or Tournaments except when they are easy. I just play the game for fun, and many hours a day at that. I do what I can, and don't worry about what I miss out on. There are some exceptions where I do wish I could accomplish certain things, but I accept it when I miss out. The game is so fun as it is, and there are too many low hanging fruit freebies in the game for me to complain. I'm still surprised how much free stuff is handed to players when there are also no mandatory 30 second ads to watch. Such a relief to me for this game to be so awesome for F2P and P2W players.
I get frustrated with raid a lot too. I tried and failed like three times before I was even able to complete a fusion. It was almost impossibly hard. When I finally completed my first fusion which I believe was jetney I was so excited and proud of myself and felt a good amount of accomplishment. Even though I hate that fusions are almost impossible. I think that this is one of the things that makes them awesome. If it was easier it wouldn't have as much value. On another point they did just give us Ninja so they gave us something. And lastly with the bonus points in the last summon event this is another thing that sucks but you have to remember that these people make casino games and I think they meant for it to be a surprise and there are certain things that they don't want to reveal because as I said earlier when you work hard and something is impossible it feels so good to accomplish it. I hate it and I love it. Hang in there brother! I know how it feels. I have been there with this game. Again I have come to the conclusion that this is how it is and how the operate and I think if it were all black and white it wouldn't be as much fun.
I couldn't agree more, its like, last month I summoned my first Mythical, and he's great its Ash'nar, as you already said fixes have already been made, but, so much more could be improved in this game we love.
I been complaining about not having Ninja for 2yrs,than Plarium made him a free login. I don't know if they was listening or they already planned to bring him back. But regardless,I'm a happy camper 😅
They do care...about making obscene amounts of money. You are 100% spot-on Ash, as usual. This is what the CEO meant when he said the game was going into profit mode. They have the player base, it's not growing much, they need to squeeze as much out as they can while it's at it's peak. It's 100% about the money and nothing else. Keep your eye on the ball.
I got 200 fragments for the fusion, but had no intention of going for this event at all. Wont spend for it and dont care if i get any of these Norse heros. Maybe they are wonderful, but that can be said of the last lot and for those yet to come. You had a rant full of good points, i cant take the game seriously so its a fun time sink. I ran out of FOMO a while ago and will just save gems and shards until a great champion shows up that i can get for no effort.
Bro that sucks so hard. I missed out on a fusion one time in a similar way and it felt so bad. I really hope they do something for you since the server crashed for so long. When you rely on AUTO BATTLES which are part of your own game, then yeah, how can they keep moving forward without giving people a second chance.
Yeh, for all the things you covered, been thinking of just stepping back and reconsidering its worth. There's other games I'd like to check out but this one takes a HUGE amount of my time because of all the intertwined "Must-do's" and FOMO events. I feel like I HAVE to play instead of wanting to play and that's just not real fun.
I had 5 years invested in startrek fleet command and it got to the point where just doing your Dailey minimum tasks would take 2 hours, not to mention if you want to join in events. The average level 42 player would only have 10 million in power but would get mugged by guys that had 500 million power ships. Scopely didn't car about 95 percent of the player base. They only cattered to the 5 percent that were dropping wallets to play. I've only been into raid for about 5 months and I'm seeing certain things that elude to plarium making the same decisions that made many longtime players walk away from scopely. We all understand, it's about making money and if they can't make profits, the game will end. However, if they single out the majority of their player base to woo the whales, eventually there won't be a player base left to s h I t on.
People confuse loving the game with being blind to it's flaws. You call out the game because you love it because you want the flaws fixed. That's not unfair criticism, that's constructive feedback and communication. Appreciate you voicing your concerns Ash.
Well said Bront
@bront "...blind to it's [its] flaws." It's = It is.
Not gonna be able to fix this faults if you continue to play into those same systems with the mentality of "it's better than nothing."
@@Lawliet734oh thank god you clarified it’s to its. I was so lost in the original comment. Thanks for clarification was much needed
Nah, people confuse complaining with pretending it’s not just time for you to move on, not everything is for you
If you give people new dungeons, give them more energy, if you give people more summon évents, give them more shards. If you give new gear upgrade the gear capacity. If people are screaming for a change in minotaur, change it? Why is it so hard to get that if you don't treate people as people they will leave you.
ABSOLUTELY!!!!
Exactly
Minotaur change? Higher levels? 2x runs?
Yes they should give us more energy. Cuz 130 is not enough. I mean you hit 130 at level 50 and it never changes the next 50 up.
Who believes otherwise is an ignorant kid who just wants to beat the game fast to go play another and find new reasons to cry.
simple af. 🎉🎉
People: we want books qol & champ balaces please!
Plarium: heres a stupid ass badge system no one asked for lol
Yeah. I got a red dot today and when I followed it, it took me to a stupid badge with no reward attached.
Plarium: Increased book drops
Also Plarium: Just like the last time we did this, all new champions will now require 5-10 more skill books
Echo this, also colred love your channel - WOULD LOVE to see a collaboration with you and Ash!
Exactly
We are all in an abusive relationship with Plarium and should refrain from spending in the game until they stop treating their fans like bitches.
Couldn't of said it better...
let's be more real. we're all in an abusive relationship with Capitalism. we should refrain from taking part in the whole damn system for a day. like a strike... a general strike you might say....
if you feel like this is the case you should probably quit, it shouldnt feel like an abusive relationship
Guard your money the way Plarium guards its digital products.
@@awilliams765 just throw it in an isa or GSA or something, thatll work pretty well
i missed 2 fusions (the rabbit and wixell) because of an update that took longer. The worst part is that they give players stamina, some multi battles and a clan boss key... thats not even close to the 25 fragments we missed
Facts
I can’t wait until the Raid CC community moves on to the next game. I enjoy Raid a lot, but Plarium does NOT do enough to earn my money. Too much gamba not enough “game”. It’s a shame.
I have the feeling when Godforge comes out, Raid will see a drop off in usage that perfectly coralites with the launch of Godforge
@@pauldesrosiers5710 there will be some effect for sure, but there will be many who have no interest in godforge, myself for example
knighthood has got me currently
Even if godforge is not as good on release I’d rather play a game that’s not as good with developers that actually care an are not sucking players dry an not giving enough supply’s In return I can’t wait for it to release plarium needs a wake up call
you guys should try watcher of realms if you havent already.
Since we’re ranting I’ll add my 2 cents:
1) CVC should ONLY once a month
2) if I’ve I have Lydia, I should not have to sit thru factions wars.
600 stamina(?), extra clan gold and other miscelaneous items by doing nothing different from what i already do.
cvc is pretty much once a month tho. only PR cvc matters
If they prolong cvc more then it's 2 weeks longer you'd wait to book champs.
Many others would be frustrated by that.
@@glaziumtck8593 rewards do not equal resources invested. It was justifiable for clans to unlock shop. Doesn't make sense for clans that are maxed.
@@glaziumtck8593 This, we are just a t1 chill clan avarage 800k-1mill points on cvc get all the rewards and everyone is happy.
The hammer points in the summons event in the end was just so deceitful. That was hitting below the belt. Sick of it.
I hear you. I've been playing less, mainly CB and daily quests. Not bothering with fusions and such. Rewards are underwhelming in other areas
im thinking about quitting for this reason, getting my time back, and this game is really predatory.
i wish i never started, but they got me and i basically lost a lot of money. so it feels kind of super bad to spend so much and then straight up quit
it is also still fun and tbh if i completely quit i probably wouldnt really know what to do with my time other than sleeping eating etc more
@@user-s8c6p try watcher of realms. It doesn't require as much time to play and isn't as predatory as raid is.
Players: “Why does Siege suck”
Plarium: “well we grew up in middle class families”
100%
Agreed but…. Armanz and Gnut were actually worth it aha
The answer is simple; Patch Notes;
Minotaur's Labyrinth has had all scrolls removed, will now drop books for Champion's skills; with Stage 15 being only Epic/Legendary books.
(For those of you who don't want to do the math; you'll have the ability to gain 2.5 copies of the fusion champion; which allows for the use of epics/fragments; and also allows for the ability to skip certain events, whether out of not wanting to do it, or having a life that requires more attention than a game.)
lol. =)
YES PLS.
Would kill the game. Being able to farm sacreds and voids? Noone would have any need to spend money. Aka effectively killing the entire game.
My list is:
1) Hydra Clash - Such a ridiculous event.
The more ways added to "speed up" runs will get people to spend more gems on multibattles or energy since they can rush it all
5) Summoning Events - The lack of transparency on 2x, 1+1, 10x, 15x, or guaranteed events puts extra anxiety on all players.
Minno needs to give every champ a roll at scrolls. Only one getting anything is beyond silly now.
@@BryonLape That and maybe adding a small chance to get books to drop at the end of mino like how every dungeon can drop ancient shards. Would be beautiful
As long as their line is going up they will hear none of this.
Siege is the biggest "I don't know what to do but I do it anyway" fiesta I've ever seen. And Plarium is in that same boat.
Yeah I'm 180 days in and love the game but these events have been a little crazy!!!
Skill tomes somewhere are a must!!
I miss 2019. The events were so doable, Templar was a great Dragon champ, everyone was selling their soul for Draco.
Plarium: "2 week long MARATHON after 2 week long MARATHON is what players enjoy, whose who still play" :P
What’s better than a 2 week marathon? A surprise 2 week marathon that starts before the first one even ends
Rewards are getting shittier and harder to reach by the day as they are totally depleting all resource for every damn event!
Now, with so many other things to do in the game, it just feels like too much effort.
it's really not too bad even now, just jump in whenever and farm up a few wins
Great hall is low key why I keep quitting. Arena just sucks ass to play and not doing so is such an enormous detriment to your account.
"5*chicken for the poor" plarium: don't look that peasant in the face
All I'm doing now is dailies anymore.
Same. Dailies and iron twins.
If I remember clan boss or feel like it I hit it.
Ash they don’t care it’s harsh to say but it’s true they got the money hungry bug so as long as whales keep spending they won’t change any thing ! This game is DYING
whales gonna whale either way. Seems like a better idea to attract new people to spend instead of getting fewer.
People been saying raid is dying for 4 years
Amen brother i love not playing this game anymore
@danielm6871 you know it's still does. It is slow process due to new players but check statistics in app stores they do jot make as much as they used to....
The rant helped a bit. For those who missed the fusion deadline due to the technical issues they are willing to look into it. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻
Thank you, Ash. Appreciate you shouting out the others who also called this out.
Just saying I personally like turn based games like this but many the script plarium gives people made it seem like something more
I agree with 100% you said, but yeah man sadly They'll care when enough people stop giving them money.
@@IntooleranceRieg yikes
meanwhile summoners war on 10 years without powercreep and lots of rewards for newbies to catch up.
Thank for mentioning about mino problem. I hate farming mino but i had too. With little reward and wasting energy, were i can farm in another area
That happened to me! The past few times they just happened to run maintenance towards the end of an event when people are rushing to finish.
It's my experience that developers tend to cater to a small, specific, minority of the game or push their vision because they think they know best.
I dunno, I'm just frustrated that such a cool game has bummed me out to this point.
cant agree more. if plarium comes with a few more time consuming updates, i guess many casual players will eventually quit.
100% agree. Would have budgeted differently with the hammer points info. Instead I pulled 2 more sacred than I would have needed to.
I got banned right after the fusion started for "exploiting the refund policy". Three days later, my account wasn't banned. But I missed 100 fragments, and there has been no way to get them. I would have had to get lucky on voids and pull the fragment champion. I was really mad. Today I realized there will be another and another and another "must have" champion soon.
if you got unfairly banned, appeal/complain to customer support, if it was a fair ban then that probably all on you
@elfishmoss1457 I did.
Everyone should LIKE this video, thats they only way to get through to Plarium!
But regardless,I'm a happy camper 😅
after the most recent siege its not giving me defense scrolls until after the NEXT siege, I hate siege. I can't set any defense for the next siege
Thanks for finally speaking up!
Us newer players are having a really tough time
They do care...about making obscene amounts of money.
ASH: RAID Shadow Legends, great video dude
