I feel like you had enough single target damage with the melter and the marksmen. What really carried him was the fang production from the forts. Your melter just got stuck on them in that final round. You had fang clear from your typhoons, but the forts took care of them and then kept making fangs even after they were gone, and then it was doomed with nothing to get rid of them. So probably more distributed fang clear is what I'd try if I could only do one thing. Something like ranged mustangs because they didn't have anything to get rid of all of them. I'd probably buy more melters too, and try to have them further back, but I don't think that's strictly necessary. Just safer with more margin for error. Close and fun game though either way!
