    Unfortunately, he hasn't made any mention of people using those titles to borrow and create businesses (frankly with good advice one doesn't need to borrow from a bank to create a business), the emphasis is on borrowing to build and renovate houses. This type of borrowing will only benefit the banks (NCB) and the merchant class, not Jamaica in the long-term.

    The wind farm could be used to, power electric plug-in stations, bauxite or alumina processing.
    The end of block-outs, in Jamaica,
    Stabilize by iron ( Fe ) batteries to store energy.

    Doesn't add up!
    ●Why is the Jamaican government cutting public sector jobs to reduce public sector wage bill?
    ●Why are we still borrowing from the IMF? Why does Jamaica government divest their assets because of IMF conditionalities?
    ●Why is the Jamaican dollar devaluing and hyperinflation occurring?
    ●Why is the government increasing taxes on every front, reducing liquidity in the economy?
    ●Why do Jamaicans have to rely so heavily on remittance services?
    ●Why doesn't tourism benefit the average Jamaican owning property?

    • @sharieprendy4181

      You have a lot of questions when all your answers are public..remember Jamaica had an agreement with the IMF starting in 2013 to support economic "reform" .. Jamaica's relationship with The IMF is now a "precautionary standby agreement". My advise is to Google your question..

    Michael is a good salesman for his assets and for Jamaica.
    Like his argument that we should own our own infrastructure. What about building a new airport in Montego Bay......that should be an awesome investment project.

    • @bay876

      There's no need for a new airport in Mobay.

      Clive Lawrence so what happen to Donald Sangster International Airport in Mobay with the relatively new addition of Knutsford Express bus station next door for even better ease of transportation? Another airport in Mobay? Where? Why?

    Talk is cheep, Its very hard to get anything done in Jamaica. Everybody got their hand out, trying to rip you off. and these are Government offices.

      Head Gestures and their meanings:-
      .A fast and rhythmic head shaking definitely says - “no, I disagree, this is not true.”
      .A slow and irregular turning of the head usually signals misunderstanding.
      Something didn't get through quite right.
      Slow and rhythmic head shaking can also signal disbelief. We cannot accept what we just heard.
      *******
      I think Michael Lee Chin's gesture was the middle one, "slow and irregular, the head signalling a misunderstanding, something didn't get through quite right to his listener(s)", so that is perhaps why the shaking of his head from side to side and him trying to get his message across whilst at the same time saying "Yes" to trust in the JSE, which I think is sincere, as he has invested a lot of his time, energy and money into his people and country, Jamaica and let us not forget, his investments and companies all play a part in Jamaica's current standing in the World stock exchange, once again, keeping 'Jamaica's' name on the map for something positive, not just the negative.
      For example, you have some TH-cam vloggers where 99.9,% of their vlogs are ONLY EVER the negatives on Jamaica e.g. murders, crime or a Jamaican committing a crime abroad etc etc, yet they hardly ever choose to speak up about any of the positives or the good happening across the island and there's plenty to choose from. I guess bad news sells right🤷🏾‍♀️ and the silly sheep following are subscribing to those vloggers living/lifestyle who are only in it to make money because if they really cared about their country Jamaica or respected the people they would STOP the negative posts and perhaps "bring some balance".
      Peace!🙏🏾

    So true. But the money talk is all a hush hush in this country. Even if u dm jse right now with questions to their fb page they wont even answer you.
    Bottom line you have to go through a broker like mayberry, jse, barita, jmmb etc. We cannot independently trade on the stock market.

    • @techlos1
      @techlos1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well times have changed, brokers operate more like a portal or gateway, you can buy whatever stocks you like without communicating with a brokerage representative, brokers are necessary though.

      Spending to create business, generate and grow income / wealth. Money store in the bank, do anything, loan spending, generates revenues for the government, it depends on what you spend your money on. Do you spend it something that generates revenues, like real estate, currency stocks, bonds, bearing in mind time and rate of return, or depreciating assets, like cars, or invest in something that you do not understand, or calculate the risk.

    • @BuyTheDip627
      @BuyTheDip627 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alright. So, a number of you guys responded to my comment without understanding what I said. When I said spending, I was referring to government spending.
      I agree with Michael on the topic of investing. When it comes to government policy, he's clueless. Capitalism is what works. Michael wants the government to spend money to build infrastructure and "stimulate" the economy. That is a waste of money.

      @@BuyTheDip627 proper infrastructure is the 1st step towards any country moving ahead hence the reasons 1st world countries invest so heavily in it as it attracts investors along with good governmentpolicies, low crime rate etc, there is no 2 way about that
