I FV you have to straighten out the track as much as you can so you can go flat out as much as you can. Think about that. The downhill you do perfect and it shows. Everywhere else you drive desperately and you don't have the power to make up for the speed that is scrubbed off. You have to constantly think like a surgeon.
First off to the driver, nice clean race. Solid job!👍 On analysis, I noticed especially in the middle of the race the lines got looser. Lining it up far enough left into T3 lets you take it basically flat out from before that apex all the way around back to T1. There seemed like a lot of lost time between T2 - T6, but it's a pretty simple fix once you become aware of it. On the Vee: This car is great for learning throttle modulation at the upper limit. For example, how you can let up just slightly (and I meant very, very slightly) enough that you can adjust your approach without a noticeable loss in power. Especially important for T4 and T6 of this course. Also in F-Vee: What are breaks 🤣😂🤣?
@@bonedawgstudio5649 An absolute late apex is need for T2 in under powered cars as you pointed out. Your line has to put you parallel to the outside edge of the track. When you swing wide, you have to turn left and then right for T3. That scrubbing of speed can never be made up and makes you slow everywhere else.
Really? I do understand it's not for everyone, but I think it's so fun once you figure it out. I'm a class A driver and race this Rookie series because there is a lot of close exciting racing in the top splits. There also seems to be a pretty decent community for a Rookie series, at least with the drivers I'm meeting with regularly in there (who all seem to be A-C license 1500 IR or greater drivers). I also needed a new use for my clutch and H-pattern after MX5s went paddle shift. Now I am enjoying this crazy little VW go kart more than I ever did the Mazda.

I tried to steer with my racing steering wheel and pedals but the car did not response. What a lousy video game. 😆👍🏻
