- It's been a whole year since I added the Instant Pot Pro Plus with Wi-Fi to my kitchen arsenal, and I'm here to give you an honest review of my experience. I'll be talking about all the pros and cons I've discovered along the way.

This pot is so universal at this point, like WiFi, steam, airfry, slow and fast cooking. I love it. I am happy I did not buy the previous versions.

Wouldn’t leaving the ingredients in all day at room temperature be a health hazard?
Correct, specially meats and poultry, eggs or milk/cheese. Bacteria like Salmonella, E. Coli could start growing at dangerous levels. Even if you cook them at temperatures that kill the bacteria the toxins that they leave and that cannot be destroyed by heat and could cause serious health danger.

For large quantities, the pre-heating time will be longer; if it's taking forever then something is wrong with the IP, you should contact the customer service they'll send you a new one. Enjoy cooking in IP :)

Any word from IP about a compatible ceramic inner pot for pro plus? I'm assuming it's because of the silicone handle they may need to wait and see demand before making one.
Ceramic inner pot for pro plus not yet available. True, they have to customize the pot.
How does this compare to the CHef IQ? Can you do a comparison of pros and cons? Thank you for the effort and video.

I didn’t find any issues with the pressure lid, works well for me. If you already have an air fryer, you just need a regular Instant Pot without the air fryer. Hope this helps.
I cant choose between the Pro Crisps and This Pro Plus!! Any advice anyone?
Pro crisp has 2 separate lids for pressure cooking & air fry-bake-roast. It doesn’t have WIFI capability. Pro plus has WIFI & only for pressure cooking. If you already have a separate air fryer, I would recommend Pro plus. If you’re looking for an IP for both pressure cook & air fry, pro crisp will be ideal. @@thasneen Thanks for the reply :). One quick question, were you using Wi-Fi option? Is it safe, I mean I am afraid what if the food gets burnt and caught fire or something, or some sort of errors?
While using wifi, ensure there is at-least 1/4 to 1/2 cup liquid in the pot so that the pot won’t turn brown & IP wouldn’t give out burn error. IP’s safety features are pretty impressive, has overheat protection & much more. If any errors or burn you’ll get the notification on the Instant brands app. Not to worry, go ahead & cook delicious dishes effortlessly in the Instant Pot 😊

How do existing 3rd party instant pot recipes transfer to this unit? Are edits to the original recipe required?

Is the inner pot a different size than the Instant Pot Duo? I see you mentioned the ceramic inner pot we can buy is not compatible with this.
The size is the same 6 qt, this is an entirely different pot with anti-spin & has silicone handles. Hence, IP duo or the older IP inner pots are not compatible with this model.
I really like the video, its some good and uniqe content for the more exotic Instant Pot models:
But I would advice you to get a decent microphone, I had to turn the treble all the way down on my audiosetup, in order to make the sound stop hurting my ears :c

I don’t think so, however original Instant Pot model is available on Amazon India.
