I've already seen a couple reviews of this trailers who are griping about the plane - they went old school on the effects people. Appreciate it. If they went CGI - they'd complain about it being too removed from the original. Personally, I love the jank in the special effects - it feels like he Beetlejuice world again!

This looks it maybe one of those rare occasions when the followup film, is good. Reading the comments, it appears Michael Keaton, has had a large say in what the style of the film should be.

I'm 75 and the first movie came out when I was 39. I didn't care for the stop motion back than, it looked cheap. It was the story that I cared about and it was good. So if they do stop motion again or whatever and the story isn't good, I don't care. And if it is a good story, for me, the stop motion still means nothing. :)

And now I'm kind of hoping that once again, Barbara comes in to save the day the way she did in the first movie.

if you pause and look at the lady with the sewn up face (Monica Bellucci) when she's holding up her hand to the side of her face you'll see she's missing her ring finger. as in the finger from the end of the first movie. thats his ex(?)-wife. Plus, when he lite his thumb and blew the wall open doesn't that remind you of the Cartoon?
