Hi! One tip I picked up while learning to do my makeup is to start on the side you’re less comfortable at! That way you can have an easier job trying to match it on the side you feel you’re better at and our makeup looks more symmetrical.
Hey! It's lovely to be here for your first time trying makeup. ❤ I have a few simple little tips for you: 1: I'd recommend getting something to prime your eyelids before you start putting the eyeshadow on. Like a concealer or an eyeshadow primer. You can blend it in with your finger. It just makes eyeshadow apply much smoother. 2: I'd recommend getting a blending brush. Its very good if you're doing smokey eyes. You can use circular motions around the shadow and it'll blend more seemlessly 😊 3: gel eyeliner is probably your friend because it's a little easier to use for beginners. You can put it on with an angled brush and if it looks ropey you can just blend it out a little bit and it'll add to the smokiness. Hope this helps ❤ keep it up Queen 🦋
i’m a 16 year old trans girl and omg my first try was literally the same as yours lol, over time you will learn your face more and what flatters you, you are so brave 💟
that was really good for a first time!! and btw those spongy makeup brush thingys suck so bad, a small fluffy brush is great for eyeshadow and blending!!
I'm a certified MUA between other things and I'd be happy to share some tips if you ever want some :) I would probably say skip the eyeliner till you've mastered your eyeshadow and mascara first, you don't really need eyeliner with such a dark eyeshadow anyway!
remember practice makes perfect! i remember it took me a whole summer of practicing my eyeliner and eyebrows to get it to look satisfactory to me. I love your top btw, i used to have a lacey one like that and i loved it to shreds lolol
You're absolutely gorgeous!! and you did a great job for the first time doing makeup. I also noticed we have the same name! Soon you'll be pro at makeup❤❤❤
hi!!! you’re sooo beautiful omg! love ur hair, literally curl goals. here are some makeup tips from a girl that’s been doing it for forever!!! u did incredible for ur first time doing makeup. it’s such a learning process, esp eyeliner!! how i learned was putting up a reference picture and trying to understand the shapes and where it starts + ends. i sometimes use a highlighter pencil to mark the spots to do, because the black is hard to wipe off without ruining everything else!! my first eyeliners were very blobby - don’t worry about it LOL
Makeup's *really* hard to do!! The easy parts are usually lipstick and mascara- could be different for you! I'd recommend trying to blend the eyeshadow a bit more and trying to keep the lines smoother- but hey, that's WAY better than my first try at makeup!! talking as if my usual makeup isn't just eyeliner and lipstick. Otherwise looks great!!
I think you did a good job, you're already just naturally pretty but I think this is a solid first dabble, I'm a trans girl and ive been doing my makeup since I was 9 (I'm 18 now) and its always a bit of a learning experience😸
Hi! I've been feeling quite the same in social interactions lately, really off and weird. I think that theres been this self-imposed criticism brewing inside where the outcome has been that I feel like I should hold back more, engage more in small talk and just be "chill". Somehow I've gotten the feeling that being open and inquisitive in regards to both friends and new people conversation is waaay overboard, "too much", and I should just be more closed off. Then acting upon this left me feeling dissosciated. Ah well, I'm having a party tomorrow and I think I'll try and go back to my muchier self. Also, makeupwise: I think for the smoky look you can try and add the eyeliner like you did, and then use a brush to blend it out into infinity, then adding more close to the outer corner (top and bottom) and smoking that out a bit, and again and again, this way you've achieved depth. Try to blend the eyeliner upwards diagonally from the outer corner so that the blended eyeliner gives that cateye effect without it being that graphic line. Also u can try this with eyeshadow, starting with a lighter shade allover and then going for the darker shades closer to the outer corner. If u want the classic cat eye try a liquid liner!! Lol alright, thats it for me!! Have a nice day
@@ellinor7880 it's definitely easier said than done, BUT you just have to be the most "you" that you possibly can... be your muchier self! it will attract your type of people and if some people don't like it, they're not meant to be your friends anyway! and even though it hurts when people don't love/appreciate you for who you are, in the long run you will be so much happier without them in your life :) so if nothing else, do it for your future self! i hope your party goes well tomorrow and that you have fun being truly you :D i am actually also going to a party tomorrow, how funny!

This is advice from a super makeup professional. Start doing your makeup by feeling not seeing. It will make it fast and symmetric to your face.
