Hola Rocio, it will be very interesting to see the development of a relationship that has to do with 2 very different cultures coming together, because we cannot deny that our cultures have also contributed to our identity or likes and dislikes. Something that is no problem in one culture, can be a problem in a different culture.
I guess, the only solution will be to reach a balance where each is trying to adjust to the other, without feeling that they are giving up the integrity of who they are or their purpose in life.
For example, if Marwa would not mind polygamy, but for you it's important to be monogamous, then Marwa will have to adjust. And If for Marwa it's important to have many kids, but you want to also have an artistic life, then you will have to adjust and find a way to be both a housewife and an artist.
I will try to follow this development to see what I can learn from it.

Marriage I Am Watching
Marriage, when cultures mix, must understand FIRST AND FOREMOST the differences in thine own cultures. There will always be a STRUCTURED DIFFERENCE IN CULTURES. WAITING on Marwa and Rocio's Marriage is a WISH in your own mind. I certainly wish for their marriage, BUT being grown up in the Western World, I know that it takes time, like the garden that they are in.
