You guys are living the dream. I was raised on a farm but moved to the city once I started college. Now I am retired and my husband and I have started a small hobby farm. Going back to my roots has been such a positive step for me. My husband has always been a city boy but has fallen in love with the country life. It’s been so much fun watching him learn and fall in love with this lifestyle. We watch your blog together and have both commented many times how we wish we had started when we were younger and when our kids were young. My husband is so impressed with MaryCarl. He says that child is gonna change the world of farming one day. She is so smart and so mature and has such a love and passion for what she does. @@judybass4339 I suffer from severe anxiety and depression and have a little PTSD from some trauma. Farm life has totally changed all that for me. Being able to be outdoors and appreciate the land has made such a huge impact on my day to day life. And of course the animals are such a positive form of therapy for me as well. I didn’t realize it or understand it when I was young but now I totally get why my parents and grandparents love the couple try life. There is nothing better than working the land and seeing all that hard work paid off by yielding fruits and veggies, eggs and milk and all the other things you can create by working a farm! The Cog Hills have it all right and are raising their daughter in such a positive way. I can’t wait to see all that MaryCarl accomplishes in her life!

Jason I use the green sand boxes that are shaped like a turtle that they sell at Walmart for planting early. It comes with its own top for the turtle shell. I drill holes in the bottom for drainage. Easy to take the top on and off to protect the plants. I’ve plant zinnias in them too as well as other flowers 🌺 I think y’all would really love the look too.

I love watching you take care of your animals. It was 80 here Saturday, today we have more than 2 inches of snow in northeast Tennessee. My dog loves it. When she went out to potty, she had to take several laps around the yard.🤣
Congrats on starting the pond, it will be a never ending source of enjoyment for you there. You know you will need some bass, and catfish in there as well. Happy as well you are able to work with your barn, we just saved a barn on our property that must be about 80 years old. You never regret saving the old!

I love you’all’s sense of humor! Try…..Putting the lead line over the bottle and slide up. With lead line, over her head, slide off and on …..then eventually her harness, but be prepared with tags off and practiced with ease…..as she is feeding you can then attach lead line when feeding and un attaching…etc…

Those rare hooked duckbills will be great if you can hatch them. I'm hoping it can be done. The barn if your going to get to save it. Its a definite assets to be able to restore it for Coghill 40. Loving on that calf is exactly the right thing to do. They come to trust and enjoy humans this way, which makes them safer to be around. They love people who feed them and who are good to them.

You need to put bentonite clay in the bottom of the pond to keep it holding water.
I think the man digging the pond has perfect clay and is trading Jason his soil for Jason’s great growing soil. So they both win.

I love watching you take care of your animals. It was 80 here Saturday, today we have more than 2 inches of snow in northeast Tennessee. My dog loves it. When she went out to potty, she had to take several laps around the yard.🤣
Congrats on starting the pond, it will be a never ending source of enjoyment for you there. You know you will need some bass, and catfish in there as well. Happy as well you are able to work with your barn, we just saved a barn on our property that must be about 80 years old. You never regret saving the old!
I absolutely love you guys, I have been at the hospital with my dad for emergency surgery he was 89 1/2 years old and I lost him 3 days before Christmas. I watched y’all and it lifted my heart 💜 thank you for sharing your life with me.

I love you’all’s sense of humor! Try…..Putting the lead line over the bottle and slide up. With lead line, over her head, slide off and on …..then eventually her harness, but be prepared with tags off and practiced with ease…..as she is feeding you can then attach lead line when feeding and un attaching…etc…

I was really thinking about you all this morning. Someone in my area has a very tame 2yr old male Emu for sale for $200. How fun would that be if I had room. I am so excited for you getting the pond. That is going to be the highlight of the Cog 40.

Oh Mildred is looking good and she's letting you touch all over. The pond is going to be spectacular especially that your house will be there. Those rare hooked duckbills will be great if you can hatch them. I'm hoping it can be done. The barn if your going to get to save it. Its a definite assets to be able to restore it for Coghill 40. Glad everyone is fine and all the animals are content and happy. Moody is precious waiting for Mildred some day so he can have a closer to his kind for company.
Loving on that calf is exactly the right thing to do. They come to trust and enjoy humans this way, which makes them safer to be around. They love people who feed them and who are good to them.
I get so excited when your family vlogs show up. I am a senior citizen and not able to any of that but ya'll are the greatest teachers and I love learning. You are never to old to learn.
