- To please both Annie and Shirley, Abed ends up going on two dates at once.
Season 4 Episode 8 Herstory of Dance: To distract from Greendale's drinking fountains being removed by the CDC, Dean Pelton plans a "Sadie Hawkins" dance. Britta organizes a competing "Sophie B. Hawkins" dance in protest, confusing her with Susan B. Anthony. At the dance, Abed goes on two dates, set up by Annie and Shirley. But after he is found out, Abed realizes that he enjoys spending time and has more in common with the coat check girl (Brie Larson) who aided in his night's mischief.

They work well of each other. It's a shame we didn't got more of them.
In the middle of the gas leak crazyness, they somehow managed to create the perfect partner to Abed in such a way that she could have become a main character and most people would love it

@@henrypeters5291 Donald Glover’s coming back for it. And he’s almost as successful as she is, with his music career and TV shows. but to be fair, he was a series lead and would come back for this. Of all the people against Larson right now, I’d still take it
@@briansilva3344 First, thank you. I did not know glover had confirmed until you just told me. Second we both know NBC is not going to spend that much money on this film (let's be honest, they are their own worst enemy). Lastly, unless the Marvels flops even more than expected, I do not see Larson taking a role where she is the number 8 character at least in a small comedy film. Quite frankly, their are a million better projects for her than this (not that they would do better but she would be higher up on the cast sheet).
@@henrypeters5291 She's that spot in her career where she can choose her own projects, but it would be more of a 'Dan Harmon' thing than a Brie Larson thing. He can write her character in if she was actively seeking him out, but I don't think that's the case. There's alot to cover with all the other beloved characters, if we assume we are going back to Greendale and seeing all the other beloved side characters, like the Dean, Chang, Magitude, Leonard, etc. So the core cast is a yes, but the side characters I just don't know.
Only the irl Alison-Danny chemistry beats the Abed-Rachel chemistry. No wonder Dan approved of this character

Brie is unironically one of the best additions in this season. I wish they kept her.

Y'know, I think this episode shows what the gas leak year could have been. Not a rough send up of season 3, but an earnest follow up to season 1.

Gas leak? Whats all about this. I dont care if people hate me. I personaly liked the season 4. It's not or fault that Dan was kicked out if he doesnt came for story discussion. Maybe he has Gas leak Problem at home. The guys who worked on Community for season 4 done a great job & it was far better than season 5 & 6.

The only time that a Brie Larson character was tolerable. Also, the only role of hers where she genuinely smiled and didn’t just look constipated the entire time. See? Community really was magical. 🙂
