I love the story about twins in your family!! I love that you are stitching all the children's initials in your cross stitch piece!! and your quilts are beautiful!!! 💜
thank you!!
Oh my gosh! This was a great video! Love your family stories, pet appearances, bloopers, and of course your projects!
Thank you 😊 💕
Winnie!!!! Your stitching is beautiful! Love your modification for Pink House Sampler! What a lovely tribute! Thank you for sharing your WIPS.
Thank you so much!! 💕
"Take 504" 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆. I love your videos! Thank you for sharing all of your projects.
LOL - I'm glad you liked it!
I enjoyed seeing your projects. Your stitching is beautiful. The stories about your ancestors were fascinating, thanks for sharing them.
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful Stitching…Love your fur-babies❣️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!
That was such fun, Carrie!! You have some fabulous WIPs and WIPGO projects!! I finished Hello Halloween last summer and was so excited to have it up for the fall. Love the cameos - Ginger, Cocoa and Winnie are just adorable!! The bloopers are just too precious! Thanks to Jake for all the extras he puts into your videos. Thanks again, Carrie and happy stitching!
Thank you!! He does such a good job. And he’s so fast at editing! I hope I can find my mojo again with hello Halloween. I’ve come so far on it!
Excellent video! I enjoyed hearing the history about your family! Your husband does an excellent job putting the information about the patterns up on the screen! It makes it so easy to take notes! 😊
I read your comment out loud to Jake!! It made him smile! He said he’s going to keep on doing it!
@ tell him thank you! It’s greatly appreciated! Usually, I have to rewind several times so that I can copy down the information!
Oh yes, tell him thank you! It is indeed very much appreciated.
Fabulous projects. I am glad you did a WIP parade. Your puppies are so cute! ❤❤
Thank you! I’m glad too! It was nice to get reacquainted with some older projects!
Such a good video!! I like the history of your family. Thank you for posting. Your stitching is beautiful!! Love your fur babies…would like to see more!!
thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I really love that you put the name of the project up on the screen. Most of the time I'm working on a project while listening and an write down the info if it is something that I would like to try. Love the names in your family. Faye was even spelled the way mine is. Thanks for sharing your projects!
I’m glad people are finding that so helpful! I warned Jake he was going to set a precedent LOL
Absolutely loved the story of your ancestors. Great WIP parade. We are stitching many of the same charts. I’m a 36 count stitcher as well. Thank you for the inspiration ❤
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it! 🥰
Shoutout to Jake! Awesome editing and organization! So visually appealing and you are such a natural! I’m an amateur genealogist myself, your story was amazing! My mother was a triplet, born in the 20’s (she was the only to survive to adulthood), and I recently found an article of the birth in the local paper. There is no better time than now to do genealogy with the abundance of records, like newspaper articles!!, that are digitized and readily available (well, for a fee, of course). Best WIP parade, imo, thanks for sharing!
it is funny how many hours can disappear when you fall down the ancestry rabbit hole! I was having trouble tearing myself away from it! thank you so much for watching :)
@@redvelvetquilts you are a pleasure to watch!
Great and very professional.
Thank you so much!
Fabulous video and wips! Love the cameos. ❤
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it.🥰
Girl, I live in Texas and hate summer too 🥵🥵. Love your family twin story. You have lots of pretty projects to look forward to finishing.
I am totally dreading summer! 🥵 even now we’re in the mid 80s this week and I hate it so much 🤣😭
Instantly added to subscription favourites, I love you started with finishes, wow!
I enjoy long flosstubes, especially yours with such variety of designers and styles. 😍
Please keep filming, best wishes from across the pond 🏴
Oh thank you! I also love the longer flosstubes! I'm glad I have enough content to even fill a video's worth lol
I enjoy the diversity of your stitches.
keeps me from getting bored :) thanks for watching!
Great flosstube. Love how you are doing them!!
Thank you!
Love watching your videos.
Glad you like them!🥰
Nice set of wips! You never have too many🤪😂 thank you for sharing! Happy Stitching
Thank you! 😊💕
Love your videos ❤ and hearing about the history of your family!!
Thank you so much! I never thought I’d be someone with such a crazy story to share just from poking around ancestry!
I really like your videos. The structure, the editing and your voice is so relaxing. The story of your family and the twins is very interesting. The cross stitch and designs are so beautiful
Greetings from Spain❤
wow, Spain! Thank you for watching!
what a fantastic video. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you!
The history of your family is so interesting, what a special project!
It’s just crazy!! Thank you for watching 😊
Thanks for your video! Loved seeing your projects.
😊 thank you for watching!
Love your floss tube. I think it’s so neat when you have things that are special to you that are woven in your projects like the one with the pink house. Also think you should finish the project that you and your husband were at and you did a lot of stitching in the bar, too many good memories not to finish it. Love seeing all your wips. Happy stitching.
thank you! I am going to think long and hard on it! :)
Love that you are doing plum street Real Comfort I am waiting for the pattern but have all the floss can’t wait to start this one. You are doing amazing and love the bloopers 😂with your furry family ❤happy stitching and looking forward to seeing your beautiful progress
Thank you friend!! 💕
Another fab video! Even the bloopers 😅 The pups are so cute 🥰 I loved the story about the multiple births, that’s very interesting and a great idea to put into your lovely piece of stitching, I’m glad I found your channel, have a great weekend 🙂
Thanks so much! 😊
Making the hawk run hollows into pillows is brilliant!! I love the way those turned out! ❤❤❤
thank you!!
I’m glad you started a flosstube. I started following you and Instagram a couples of years ago. Followed because of the cross stitch but really enjoyed the puppies and Winnie. Great job on the flosstube and beautiful stitching.
thank you! I am glad I finally have the space to do videos!
I liked seeing your wip parade. I wasn’t counting, as long as you have wips and starts, you will undoubtedly have finishes. The timing is certainly up to you. If you can give yourself grace to accept where you are, then that is all that matters. It is not a contest or race to see who is getting more done. Stitching should be fun and pleasant, and relaxing. I will look forward to your next video, to see you progress on your interesting stitches. 🧵 🪡
Agree whole heartedly!! Thanks for watching 😊
I’m in the DFW area and I don’t like stitching summer things either. My exception is patriotic. We just don’t have “pretty summers”! And the whole summer I can’t wait for it to be over! Love your WIP This Joyous Season, it’s gorgeous!
Yes, when we lived in Denton, spring was terrifying because of the storms and tornadoes! Then summer would come and it would get unbearably hot. I am always chomping at the bit for fall to get here, and winter is my favorite. Thank you for the nice comment 😊
Enjoyed watching your floss tube
Your work is great!!! Don’t give up the bar stitch - finish it and hang it - sounds like too many memories ❤
Thank you so much! I’m gonna think on it… maybe we just need to plan another visit to Galveston and I’ll bring my restart with me LOL
I LOVE what you did with Hawk run Hollow, the pillows are amazing looking!
Thank you so much!! They are so fun to display that way!
I so agree with you regarding the Salem witch trials. It was a tragic event that shattered lives - and I agree it is about honouring and remembering. I live in Northern England, in the UK, not 30 miles from the location of a similar tragic event, called the Pendle Witches trials. In that instance it was a ten year old girl who denounced literally her whole family - all died. Historically it was predominantly women who were denounced and it is very much a part of women’s history. So moved to hear you speak in the same way that I feel about these sad events. Another wonderful flosstube. And how great is Jake at editing. More of the menagerie too please, Steph from Cheshire
It was awful! I don’t want to be a stick in the mud about it but I’m very selective when it comes to choosing patterns about those events. The Primitive Hare has a lot of patterns I like that are more focused on remembering and educating. Thank you for your nice comment 😊
What fun flosstubes!! Great stitching and finishes! The story about all the multiple births I was frozen mid stitch and didn’t move til that was done! CRAZY! The bloopers are just too good ! That would be me 100% if I tried to do this! Thanks for being brave and jumping in there!!!!
thank you so much!! I have found a new level of confidence thanks to such kind comments like yours!!
I love your idea about honoring your family in the pink house sampler! Your channel is awesome.
thank you so much!!
Loved your pets’ appearances and your bloopers. You’re doing great! Enjoyed your ❤WIP PARADE! YOU DON’T HAVE TOO MANY WIPS!
I was actually quite surprised at how few I had! Maybe I should go start a few more projects LOL
We have very similar taste! Welcome to flosstube - glad you are here :)
Thank you! 💕😊
The pillows look awesome for the Hawk Run Halloween! Love that idea! 🎃
Thanks!! They are really fun!
I love it all…. You’re doing great! Looking forward to seeing your stitchy progress 😊
thank you! :)
Thanks for sharing your WIPS! Really enjoyed the time and seeing all of the great stitching. Loved seeing the pups too! Come back soon!
Thank you so much for watching! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 😄
Wonderful WIPS. Pumpkins are not uniformly orange; I like it the way it is.... for what its worth. Take care and happy stitching
!
Thank you!
I really enjoyed both of your videos! Nothing better than a few bloopers; touché for including those. You have inspired me to pull out All Creatures Great and Small - thank you. Happy January!
yay!! Happy stitching!
Loved the video! Great job. Keep up the good work. Such beautiful pieces. Won’t they be lovely when they’re all done!? Don’t you just love Ancestry? My oldest daughter (adopted) found her biological family that way. What a blessing. ❤️
ancestry is such an amazing resource! thank you for watching :)
So fun to watch your WIPGO and WIP review. Loved the stories and bloopers
Jake does such a good job compiling my goofs! 🤣 thank you for watching!
I loved hearing about your family history! So interesting! Really amazing! Enjoyed every minute! I was not aware of the poem for Halloween at Hawk run Hollow that is so cool! Also loved your idea of making little pillows! Very happy that you decided to come back so please continue!
Thank you!! Yes, the poem had me so curious, I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere in the pattern and was pleasantly surprised to find the rest of it! It’s kind of an eerie spooky poem! Thanks for watching 😊
Gald to see you back again. I enjoy your floss tube very much. And your workmanship is awesome 👌 👏
Thank you! It is nice to have an outlet to share with others! I don’t know anyone local to me who cross stitches.
So great stitching! I love seeing what you are working on. Of course I love the dogs…we have a dachshund and chiweenie too!
The best of both worlds!! 😂
My great-grandmother's name was Judson Anne, I was surprised to hear the name Judson! Her maiden name was Commander and married name Kite.
I love your idea of remembering your family.
I love seeing all of your WIPs!
Those are such cool names! I love it!
Great video. I love your projects and was definitely trying not to go online shopping 😅😅😅thanks for sharing.
haha I always have to have my online cart up and ready to go when I watch flosstube. it can be dangerous!
What a great idea for the Halloween Hawk Run! Thanks for sharing 🙂
I’m so glad you liked it!
Love all your projects! I love Elizabeth Furniss, I should order that one. Thanks for the inspiration!
I am looking forward to getting some stitches in that one this month!! As soon as these little valentine pillows are done.. 🤣🤣
I really enjoyed your first two FT. The story of your ancestors was truly fascinating. So personable and such great ideas. I look forward to many more.
Thank you so much! It’s been fun sharing with everyone. 😊
Your flosstubes are fantastic and so inspiring, love your stitching and quilting! Hope to meet you one day, I am from Baytown Tx. Your stories and interests are fascinating!
Thank you so much!!
the "bloopers" are part of real life. Love your video
Jake does such a good job splicing them together!
Really enjoy your floss tubes! Looking forward to seeing your progress on your projects. Thank you Jake for labels and pattern information presented so clearly. The animals are wonderful!!!
Thanks for watching! I appreciate all the support! 💕
I love seeing your WIPS. Keep up the good work!
Thank you! 😄
I like your pattern choices, right up my alley! ;0)
yay! :)
Loved seeing your WIPGO and WIPs. So interesting to hear about your ancestry concerning multiple births.
Thank you 😄
So glad your video came up on my TH-cam. We have a ton in common. I quilt and cross stitch. Lori holt is my jam. I have most of her your fabric lines and a lot of her kits. Quilt and cross stitch. Currently working on Bloom quilt and several of her cross stitches.
I love this joyous season. I’m hoping to stitch one day. Your so close to a finish. Maybe put a few stitches in a month. Or maybe someone can finish it for you. I love 16 count. Equivalent to 32 linen but I’ve never stitched on 32. I’m hoping to try one day. But I have so many wips already lol 🤦🏼♀️
Your genealogy finds are amazing.
Thank you so much for watching. I made Lori’s Bloom quilt back in 2015 or 2016 and it was my very first applique quilt. I remember I finally finished it and hung it up and called Jake to “come see my first and LAST applique quilt!” 🤣 but when I stepped back and saw it all done I was hooked! Her stuff is so dang cute.
I am so enjoying these! I loved seeing all your projects. Great thought on the Hawk Run Hallow!
Thank you so much! 💕
Another fabulous video ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!! :)
Wonderful!!
💕
Really awesome flosstube! Love the pet cameos, the bloopers, and your stitching is fabulous.
Thank you so much! I have the best furry assistants 🤣
I loved your video and enjoyed seeing your beautiful work! I heard about your flosstube on Tara Sullivan’s most recent episode and I’m so glad I did! Your pets are adorable.
Thank you so much, I love Tara’s videos!🥰
I loved seeing all of your WIPs! I enjoy watching real life happen complete with bloopers and fur babies! ❤
I can't wait to share them more on my videos! thank you for watching :)
Great video! Lots of inspiration!
Thank you for watching!
Loving the videos❤
🫶🏻
I love all your projects! What a cool back story to memorialize in your sampler. God bless your great+++ grandmother, having so many multiples! I have twins and am pretty sure I’m a hero. 😂😂. I’m so glad you’re doing flosstube, I’ve loved your IG.
Thank you so much! My mom told me once when she sees mothers with young twins that she has to fight the urge to go tell them it’s gonna be okay 😂
Another great video! Keep it up!
Thank you! 😊
Love the quilt behind you!
Thank you!
Another great video, enjoyed the twin story!
Thank you!!😊
You’re doing a great job, and, as others have said, love the bloopers. I honestly love the whole flosstube. Keep up the great work.
Thank you 😊 💕
I am enjoying everything about your videos. You are absolutely refreshing! Keep them coming a!
Thank you I am so glad to hear that!
What a refreshing video. For all the restarts you had, your final one was very calm and entertaining. Loved it. Will be returning for more of the same. Thank you❤🇦🇺
I am so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching 😊
Love your WIPS
Thank you! I hope I can finish a few this year!
@@redvelvetquilts I’m sure you will just enjoy the process
I love the story about your great grandmother. I enjoy genealogy even when it’s not my own. Maybe you could just stitch a pair of angel wings for the unknown name. You have a lot of pretty WIPs. 😊 Olivia
That’s a great idea!! Writing that down! 😊
I absolutely LOVE your videos! I’m already anxiously awaiting #3. Your editor does a great job too and you’re a natural in front of the camera. The Pink House Sampler is a fun one and will be a fabulous keepsake to record your ancestry. Wow, what a story about the multiple births. So so interesting, your great great grandmother must have spent most of her young life pregnant. I can’t imagine. But large families were quite common back then, I’m sure!
Anyway great video and I’ll be watching it multiple times! I love everything you are stitching! We have the same taste in designs!
Ahh Carol!! You’re of my very favorite flosstubers. I get so much inspiration from you 😊 I’m so tickled you found me!
@@redvelvetquiltsand I’m so glad too!! I recorded recently and hubs is currently editing, I gave you a shout out so hopefully you’ll get lots of new views!❤️
@@saltboxstitcher I'm so excited, thank you!!
I love your first 2 videos, and your stitching is soooo good! Keep them coming, and don’t forget the cameos! I would also love to see your quilting too, I’m an a new quilter and would love some inspiration! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!! I’ve been pulling a few quilts to share on my next video! 😊
Fantastic story about your genealogy. I love and have 99% of your charts and will never finish what I have collected. You are doing fantastic. The bloopers are so cute. I stitch alone at 70 (Jan 11th.) and am so appreciative of floss tube and the time commitment involved. My husband hears me laughing and commenting ( talking to myself) about all the finished charts. And we had a dapple dachshund named Annie and three goldens!
Thank you! I am always reminding myself that just because I buy the pattern doesn’t mean I have to make it. Sometimes i just want to look at it and pretend like I might 😂 collecting charts and linen is a whole separate hobby!
And happy early birthday 🎂 mine is on Monday, only two days apart!
I love your style.
Thank you 💕
Loved your second floss tube , all your work is an inspiration. Thank you
Thank you!
Wow, that story about your ancestors was so interesting! What a cool idea for that project to put the articles in there. Love your projects! I’m hoping to be a long armer some day, so if you ever shared videos on that, too, I wouldn’t be mad!!
What a wonderful video,I,m going to watch it again later. Fasciinating story about your ancestors. Nice seeing you, bloopers too.
thank you!!
thank you so much! Maybe I can figure out how to do some youtube "shorts" of my longarm stitching away!
Hi Carrie, congrats on your new flosstube
thanks Dorcas! I hope you had a good holiday! :)
Congratulations on two brilliant flosstubes - keep 'em coming!
Thank you 💕
SO MANY great WIPs!! I vote to rehome This Joyous Season. This comes from someone who used to like 32 and now can’t stand it. 🤣😂😉
oh so I shouldn't rehome it to you?? LOL
@ 😂 Please don’t. I mean, I do love the pattern, but I’m stitching on 32 right now and it’s awful. 🥴
I have absolutely loved everything about your 2 videos! Lovely finishes and a wonderful variety of projects. Not to mention you have a calming voice to listen to while I am stitching! I will be looking forward to seeing your next video…happy stitching!
aw thank you so much for your sweet comment!!
Wow another awesome video!!
Love everything you talked about and love your wip parade. I’m also a quilter too. Would love if you could sprinkle some of the quilts in there also. Looking forward to your next one ❤❤❤
Thank you thank you! I’ve had a lot of people ask about showing quilts so now I’m definitely brainstorming which ones to share first! 😊
I’m so glad to see your 2nd podcast! ❤
Keep up the great work.
😊💕
Thx for the second video. Such great videos. Love the stories. I used to live in East Texas. Texas is a beautiful state. Now in AZ. (Love the “dry” heat here🤣.) Also used to live in Colorado. Love how you put some thought/history behind the pieces you work on. Anyway beautiful stitching. Unique to your videos are the bloopers which crack me up! Great job Jake on editing! All should be so lucky to have an editor like him.😊
yes I am so lucky! He is the glue holding these videos together haha!! thank you for watching :)
Loved your video even the pet bloopers! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you! 🥰
Enjoyed your 2nd video!! So interesting about your family!! Beautiful stitching, love the projects you choose!!
Thank you!! It was such an exciting discovery!!
I really enjoy your FlossTubes! I subscribed on your very first one. I love your style! Thank you for taking the time to make these!
I'm looking forward to the next one already! Happy stitching!
Oh thank you for saying that!! ❤️
Just love all your WIP’s and stories that go with them. What I have just started doing to cover up the ‘fraken stitches’ is glue on (with Aline’s) my name tag over it. I have purchased personal name tapes on Etsy by you can also make on a printer with quilting fabric and light weight interfacing.
that's a great idea!! thank you!
You did do this perfectly, life happens, lol. We love all your pets and am so glad to see Winnie will recover.
thank you so much! we are so relieved about Winnie!
What a awesome episode and love the over head view. Your grandmother’s story was very interesting to hear. Looking forward to your next one
Thank you for watching! 🫶🏻
Awesome WIP's! If you're still looking for someone to adopt your Plum Street - Joyous Season I would be absolutely interested, I will send the completed project back to you where it belongs with all those happy memories! Adored seeing your fur babies and I love the blooper reel at the end 😆 Looking forward to your next flosstube video, happy stitching!
Oh thank you! That is terribly generous of you!! 🥹 I’m still thinking it over but I’ll let you know. I wouldn’t feel right not letting you keep it though! 💕
You have some beautiful projects to work on, so many great choices for sure. I really like your idea of the Hawk Run Hallow piece being broken into smaller pillows, that's a great idea. Fascinating information about your family genealogy and the history with all the multiple births going way back. Stitching the initials into your piece will be a very special way to honor all those relatives.
Thank you for watching and commenting 😊 I’m looking forward to sharing more on my Pink House Sampler this year!
