I’ve found two 40rd PMAGs attached to M16A1 spawns in military bases in the northwest, not in static gas zones. This was before the newest patch on Tuesday
mikelitten is correct. It spawns as an attachment on military rifles anywhere on the map. I know this because i had this happen multiple times on a private community server. Plus its illogical for someone to drop a functioning rifle with great mag containing bullets in loot spawn spots
Hot Topic that's going to make some people rage i think in my opinion that the aug ax is better just because it's easier to find and a little easier to handle plus the aug ax can take aug a1 magazine's as well giving you more over all versatility once again just in my opinion
Yep it will spawn in as the game doesn’t consider player equipped items as part of the loot spawning, once a M4 is picked up off the ground it will spawn another one in
M4 definitely not the most powerful weapon in the game. The most powerful weapon is clearly the SVD or LAR maybe the AUR AX. Why? SVD basically one hit kill a player almost up to 400m and KO for up to 750m, or the LAR which can do the same up to 200m and KO up to 500m, but even the AUR AX has higher damage/shot compared to the M4. The only upside of the M4 is the high fire rate and low recoil, but the weapon is practically useless in every situation other than CQB (For CQB its definitely a good choice ). Also the versatility which comes with the SVD and LAR are really outweights the M4. The SVD decent in CQB and devastating on longer ranges, the LAR devastating in CQB and decent on medium ranges (also the ACOG 64x makes it an absolute jack of all trades, the only downside is the lack of supressor and the 20 round mags). For the AUR AX... its basically an M4 with lower fire rate, but higher damage/shot.

I’m calling that someone’s dropped them because it’s in the games code that they can only spawn at static contamination zones, interesting.

They are not exclusively in gas zones.
Found two in military barracks on day two of owning the game. Pristine condition unused.
The 60 ammo mag can be found in air drops at nwaf
