You know what?! Bobby sound somewhat like Benson and a bit of Stevie Wonders combination. Beautiful voice.
Oh!!! MASQUERADE. Forgot about that one for a minute. Thanks for the remind.
This is one I have been waiting for you to do!!! I have this single on a red heart shaped record that I won on a radio giveaway back in the day!!!♥️ This was always played on the "backwards only skate", at the roller skating rink!!! Such great memories!!🥰♥️🥰♥️
@red rover Oh man! I forgot that! Bobby rocked the skating rink! Good memories... We're both showing our ages now! 😂 😂
@@adterpandrea Right??? Haha!!!! 🤩
@@kimberleymonari3560 it is very cool, of course I still have it! Some things you just keep forever, that is one of them for me!🤩
I did manage to snag one of the heart shaped singles and the limited edition yellow vinyl LP records that first came out-- and my sister and I were the producer/engineering team on this record. ;-)
That is incredibly cool! Wow!!!
Hall and Oates "I can't go for that" will mess you up to.
This was the jam back in 1978! But it took me decades later, long after the internet was invented, to find out that this is a white man with so much soul!
I wish you guys would've reacted to the video, would've loved to see your reaction to that for a very specific reason
I knooooow why... I was shocked when i saw the video after decades of loving this song. Just like Darius Rucker, Bobby Caldwell's sound doesn't "match" his look. 😁👍🏽
FOESHOW
Y'all so funny when u pick out a line from a song. My daughter was the same when she first heard Turn Off the lights by Teddy. She said, wow, he meant that thang!!! lol
You guys are great-watching you nightly from San Diego 619 CA. At 70 yrs old I know much of the music you present and you've also surprised me with some I dont. Very intelligent and open minded previews and you guys are just precious. Best in life~I know your #'s are going up as I'm starting to see you on other media + people recognize your openness and ersonality: you're REAL!
Great music is great music. Simply! RIP Bobby Caldwell.
This is one of my fave song this old fashioned rnb jazzy style.
Yes!!! One of my absolute favorites ❣️ It's a great song to listen 👂 to when you're driving. I remember hearing it on the radio. 🎷🎺🎶🎧📻
Shoot, I was 19 when this came out, and couldn't even go to clubs yet. This was car dancing and yard party dancing. Twins, you take me back and it is always a joy! And my dog thanks you for the spontaneous dance parties we have here now.
I remember my mom telling me who sang this when she heard me listening to 2pac’s “Do for love” 💕 I couldn’t believe it was a white guy! So smooth
I've got goosebumps watching them get goosebumps - soooo cool to see the young generation enjoying the sound we grew up with - Respect!
Bobby has just passed away. Condolences to the family and friends.
Y'all buckled your chair seat belts again! I love that part of your reactions, along with the lighters & onions! 😂😂😂😂
Onions?
@ They used to show an onion and say "Who brought the onions?" when pretending to cry to a song, like onions make your eyes water. Also, in the "old" days, we'd flick a lighter at concerts, and you know about the seat belts. 😂
Heatwave sings “Always & Forever”...the pianist wrote the hit for the group. Baby making music.
Years ago, I saw Bobby perform at S.O.B. in Manhattan. I was such a fan of this song. He came out on stage and my friend and I were shocked. He was a blonde guy. What a voice!
It was the 70's..... Black or white, we all listened to the same popular music back then.... It wasn't a big deal.
Ahh so happy you did this song too...one of my favourites! Love your channel and your open minds and ears!
To everyone who recommended this song to them, SHAME on you for not INSISTING it MUST be the video! Missed opportunity!
Dang! 🙄😂
The thumbnail would've ruined the surprise
AGREED. I just watched a reaction video with different people reacting. They were shocked that Bobby Caldwell is white. Why isn't the video showing here? That is the fun part.
React to Jon B. They don’t Know awesome song from the 90’s
FOESHOW
yessssssssss
OMG! Yes.
I met Jon B once, I told him he wasn't him, and why would he be in our sleepy town!! Lol It was him🤦♀️
@@jamieford26😂😂😂 Still, I would have loved to have been there.
I don't know if you know about the Temptations but, you gotta check them out! Temptations - Papa was a rolling stone.
Best song!! Just a total jam at the end of the song.
A great voice from Bobby Caldwell, which I enjoyed in my teens, may he rest in peace, thanks for your music!!
Teena Marie- "Deja Vu" , Boz Scaggs-"Lowdown", Phil Collins "Against All Odds"
I can't believe you guys reacted to one of my favorite songs of all time -- today! It's like you two sweethearts knew just which song filled with love to react to.
When this song hit, IT HIT! One of my absolute favorite songs...still gives me chills. Blue-eyed soul brother indeed!
What a voice. Soulful singing can come in all favors. No one is excluded. If you got; you got it. And Bobby Caldwell really had it. RIP Bobby, your God given gift is well appreciated. 🎼🎼👏🏽
I remember the 1st time I heard Bobby Caldwell was white. I said no way! This song is so timeless.
So u were claiming a white person can't make a song like this ?
Racism on display. Funny thing is, most timeless classics are made by white folks.
@@KelvinSG Idiots. It's not about racism. It's about identifying musical genres, cultures and style of the artist. Those that look for racism under every rock and hurl racisit accusations are the real racists.
lol I. Just can’t stop! These boys are the best for anyone going though sad times. Thanks❤️
