"Together, the two Jedi (Kenobi and redeemed Quinlan Vos) lay the Nightsister (dead Ventress) to rest in a dark pool near the abandoned Nightsisters' village. As Ventress's body enters the waters, the pool turns green, and the voices of the spirits of the deceased Nightsisters are heard, welcoming Ventress back." this is a moment from Dark Disciple which could indicate that the green waters could have somehow resurrected her through nightsister magic.

Which is really good but I feel like for that reason it should've been called something like Order 66: Aftermath, focusing on more of the clones so we could see some like Neyo, Thire, Bacara, and especially Bly.

It would also be kinda cool if we got a Quinlan Vos leading a Clone Rebellion/assault on an imperial target. Then Quinlan Vos fights Vader. The finale could be a Republic style clone Army led by a Jedi similar to Anakin against Vader and an army of Imperial Stormtroopers.

That's what I love what Tales of the Jedi and The Bad Batch have been able to do. Get some stories that weren't fully developed or rendered and integrate them with these new ideas/shows. In Season 2, with Gunji the Wookie jedi, they literally took a Bad Batch story that was gona be for further Clone Wars episodes and readjusted for their own series. Beautifully done, imo. With TotJ, the last episode is a compartmentalized version of Ahsoka's novel. This family, the characters, la musica and this galaxy, I love em. Keep it going muchahos!!!

My favorite crazy connection to try and make - via her connection to Quinlan, that kind of connects the Path. Assaj is a Nightsister (which thoretically could connect into Ahsoka), but Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor also heavily involve Nightsisters and the Path so I really want to see some of that connect. Merrin in particular, thinks she is the Last Nightsister.

I like much more EU comic story yet again tbh xd I would love to see Assaj Ventress live action flashback at some point in the future. She was force to be reckoned with and Assaj was ultimately betrayed by Dooku, who choose to save Grevious and abandonned Ventress on battlefield, ordered to shoot her. Kenobi and Anakin saved her. She is last seen "kidnapping" ship that was suppose to sent her to some space hospital / jail and orders him, or rather asks him to carry her far far away from all the conflict. I thought it was really poetic for her. She was consumed by vengenance, Kenobi believed she can still be turned good, but ultimately, after being betrayed and saved by her enemies - she chooses to escape it all and live peacefully from now on. Its left as an open ending, but knowing Ventress she would do fine and be finally happy perhaps? Its beautiful one.

2:10 Yeah and that's the whole point of the Clone Wars. While yes it's main focus is the actual CLONE WARS, but at the same time it's also a name given to the time period like how Luke said it "you fought during the Clone Wars?" making it sound for like he's referring to the time period. And because of that broader theme, it has the liberty to do more, and that's what makes The Clone Wars so good for me and thats the somewhat problem i have with this show. It's still a great show don't get me wrong, but some of the stories with the Bad Batch can feel a bit dull. But it does a fantastic job at showing what was happening during this time: How were the citizens reacting to this?, when and why did the clones start getting replaced?, how did the clones actually feel about the empire, how many wanted to desert the empire?, what did the empire do with the clones that deserted or want to leave?, and we got the answers to almost all of them. If you ask me, I feel like they should've focused on the broader subject of the clones rather than mainly the Bad Batch and just called it ORDER 66: Aftermath. That way we could've gotten MORE of the other clones like Bly, Neyo, Bacara, and Thire.

  • @DanielRDrew

I was worried about Ventress, but I think that that scene (and subsequent ones) will be memories/flashbacks to the time that Dark Disciple takes place. I don't think she will be brought back, but if they find a way to nightsister magiks her back, sure. But I'm fine with the Batch recalling meeting her back during that time.
And regarding the canon stuff, I do trust Lucasfilm generally, but they have been dropping the ball a bit when integrating the novel/comic characters in these live-action shows. And it's not like it's huge changes, it's the fact that they are small changes that are contradictory to the printed media. And it just frustrates me that they could be make things mesh together and it's easy to do and they just don't for some reason. And it makes even more weird since the Storygroup exists solely so that stuff like this doesn't happen. The only time that makes sense for there to be inconsistencies of storytelling is during Order 66. If people have different stories or one person say one thing in a comic that is different in a show, fine, cuz that's all trauma and memory will be all over the place. But other than that, there's no reason that there should be noticeable inconsistencies. The most recent one being in Tales of the Jedi with that Inquisitor and that story from the Ahsoka novel being far too different from each other. Or even something as simple as when they brought Black Krrsantan into live-action, just one line of dialogue mentioning literally anything from any of his adventures from the comics would have been nice.

2:33: But also rushed. I expected far more time spent on the empire and more long term battles, Crossbair being a servant of the empire, more time spent with the transition to stormtroopers with project war mantle and how it works. More of the war bureaucracy the way we see in andor with Dedra Meero getting so much attention. The reality is we see crosshair with his elite squad. Then time jump later in season one, and we cut to Gregor and TKs are out. They’re just around. Same way rebels did it with x wings. We get the origin story of the B wing but X wings just show up??? Let’s have more details please.
We also had way too much CID stuff in season 1 in particular and not enough about what echo and Rex started doing in season 2. Even with echo, his character arc was very minimal in season one. That episode with Raxus couldve done far more with the post war separatist story and how Echo feels about them. That kind of stuff is what I wanted more of and should’ve been what the creators spent more time on. With only one season left, it’s not enough time to showcase a clone rebellion.
Just my opinion and I think clone wars was consistently good. We had detail on the war. On the policies being passed in the Senate that would impact the war. We had Ashoka’s daily trainings we had episodes about the Force.. About what bounty hunters were doing.
I’m also wanting more Scorch in this and to have him as an active protagonist.

To my ears, it sounds like a bad clash of Kiwi & Australian accents and I sometimes find myself gritting my teeth while listening to it. I don't know why they couldn't have just hired a bunch of Kiwi voice actors to be honest.

Shame to see that all the character models are as whitewashed as ever. If you haven't already, definitely give the #unwhitewashtbb stuff a look - this show seriously dropped the ball on representing Temuera Morrison well
