Cyber Cell Itanagar detains one person for obscene messages

In first of its kind, newly created Cyber Cell at Police Head Quarter Itanagar detained one person for sending obscene messages to a woman on Facebook messenger. The accused was arrested after the victim lodged a complaint with police, the accused has been charged with IPC 500 and Section 92.
While briefing media, SP SIT, Rohit Rajbir Singh informed "Most of the Cyber crime cases reported in Arunachal Pradesh are of Financial Frauds, Impersonation and Cyber Pornography".
Therefore, one needs to be careful while receiving any luring messages, emails, and phone calls.
