I am always curious as to how these builds turn out in the end. Do you actually get reasonable power gains from the performance mods/tuning on a 328i? Is there any reason or regret you have for not just buying the better engine? (I.e 335i/m3)
Bought what I could afford at the time and have no regrets, fbo n20 made around 270/280 wheel but felt great/had a blast driving it. Again, no regrets because I’m in an f80 now so now it’s just good memories 🙌🏽
This was a 2013 328i, for the most part car was reliable, only thing to worry about was the timing chain in the earlier models, newer f30’s don’t have this issue as much
Depends if you plan on getting a downpipe or not, but you can always order a nice axleback exhaust system or catback- you can also do a muffler delete or resonator delete but you might have drone

Would you get a 2015 328i or 2015 428i? Im too indecisive and i really love the 428i but it’s a bit more expensive than the 328i, so I’d be saving a lot more with a 328i and i also want to mod for whichever i get. What do you think i should do?
Up to you man & your needs! I can’t decide that for you. I like sedans cause they’re more practical and I have two big dogs that I need to carry as well

It will sound similar but m performance exhaust has a unique tone to it

Since you didn't like the active autowerke exhuast, what exhuast do you recommend? I'm looking to get one for my 328i.
My favorite setup was the MPE by far. Much cheaper than AWE. Second would be muffler delete but it droned a lot

The red trim came with the car, the carbon inside was a vinyl wrap from vvivid vinyl I believe
