Great review from a proper kit pest. Way to go Tom. Once a pest always a pest. Ive got the issue ecm daysac. But literally just waiting delivery of the issue 40ltr mtp daysac. Just for fizz carry. Ps i visited bug out the other week. I was a Proper kid in a toy shop. Spent 600 quid or so. Money well spent. He has a great little set up .
I've had this pack for over 1 year and the Jay Jay's commander's webbing a great combination I wish I had this type of kit when I served atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
I've had this pack for about 4-5 years now (the Mk. 2, I believe). No regrets on buying it, funny you mentioned the frame and the waist belt, because I asked them if they had any plans for installing both :). I'm civilian, so have different needs. I put in a plastic panel with two aluminium stays riveted to it. I am also a bit perplexed by the load lifters, but figured maybe wearing a belt rig might lift the back enough that the load lifters actually begin to function as they should?
The shoulder load lifters are probably a leftover from when a waist belt was included, the theory being you can loosen shoulders and put load onto hips. Wouldn't work without hip belt unless load is supported by belt kit.
Looks like a great pack. Agreed those mesh pockets are smart. Would that munro frame fit inside? Would that be worth it if JayJays made a third version with a frame being able to be added if wanted? Nate
Another great video ! Greetings brother from Canada 🇨🇦🇬🇧 Is there anyway you could review any of the Warrior Assault Systems gear? JayJay’s isn’t common over here and WAS is kit I can buy somewhat locally. I’m interested in their BMF Bergen. I absolutely love your channel! Keep up the great work!
I use WAS gear here in Canada. I’ve several of their products including 2 rucksacks. But not the BMF. It’s good, well made, and pricey. I had to order some of my kit from UK Tactical. I got nailed for duty and it cost even more. lol. Not much in stock here.
@@PreparedPathfinder fair enough. You would need to win the lottery to keep up with comments like mine for sure. Well if you ever get your hands on one and review it I would love to watch the video. Thanks for content you put out for us.
@@PreparedPathfinder whoops, typo. And I must have skimmed over that. I swear they made it in MTP. Now you've got me wondering why they make a MTC version
Nice video by the way on my channel im doing a 1 night survival challenge no food no shelter no fire no lights just 1 litre of water and my smock im a new channel but have watched yours for a while can you do a camp maybe sometime again 🤟🤟
Very nice piece of kit there. You are right, pay now or cry and pay more later. Cheers.

Rigorous review as always Tom👍🏻
Great review thanks 👍
I've still got my Arktis day sack in DPM camo from the early 90s

@@journeyman7189 yes l use the munro frame inside it.
This is realy an awesome Pack, but for me as civilian a no go in this Colours. OD Green, Ranger Green or Coyote wood be nice. Greetz from Germany.😁😁😁
@@hawk2717 hi, they have made it in Coyote in the past but they’re not making it in that colour at the moment.
I would love it if JayJays had a civilian line, I asked them if they could do one in black when I bought mine (in coyote) :)
Another great video !

@@MikeFF3.3The BMF is on sale at UK tactical. I bought one a few months ago. It’s a fine piece of kit.
When is the CribGoch review coming?
Multicam is the genuine camo pattern from Cyre Precision while MTP is the British "clone" which is a blend of Multicam and DPM.
I'm fully aware of that. They offer the pack in Multicam and MTC, not MTP. MTP is also genuine, it is licensed from Crye (not Cyre).
@@PreparedPathfinder whoops, typo. And I must have skimmed over that. I swear they made it in MTP. Now you've got me wondering why they make a MTC version
@@merc741 l think it’s just a non licensed clone of MC, so they can make it a bit cheaper.
I wish jay jays would re stock
Does it come in woodland m81?
@@Op4Grunt0311 nope, l mentioned the patterns available.
@@PreparedPathfinder thank you

@@PreparedPathfinder Nice great ive also watched your sere challenge when you got wet and cold and had to stop but great stuff 🤟🤟
Along with the Bergen in DPM, didn't they give you the 30 liter Patrol Pack?
No, we didn't get those until much later, and initially only for NI.
