I honestly prefer that. Forcing a pet into a place and situation where they’re uncomfortable the whole time is just a bad idea. Animals can get stressed and upset, and birds specifically can do things like pick at their feathers compulsively and refuse to eat if they get too stressed. So good on Jon for not putting Jacques through any of that just for a bit.

The button is one of the worst dating shows, cause they're clearly putting typically non attractive people with somewhat attractive people together and they only get like 10-20 seconds to get to know eachother and that clearly isn't enough time to make a judgement using anything except the other persons looks and of course the ugly people know that the most so they will push the button before anyone else can out of pure spite being like "You don't like me? NO, I don't like you!" and then they fucking try to pressure the one attractive person who manages to push the button first into saying why they pushed the button. It's so dumb
