- Is Saudi Arabia a good place to live in for a Software Engineer? I'm a software engineer myself. There are very good companies and research institutions. And many good opportunities for software engineers. The cost of living is much cheaper than the U.S. and Europe and the salaries are usually very good. Plus since you are Muslim, you can do Umrah and Hajj easily.
Software engineers earn between SAR 26,557 - SAR 244,920 a year. You can do the Math for the monthly.
Is 17000 rials per month a good salary in Saudi Arabia?

Well with my experience lived in most of the cities in Saudi Arabia and last salary drawn per month is 12,000 SAR. I've just spent roughly 2000 SAR per month.
You'll get 1 BHK studio apartment for 1100 SAR including water and electricity bill (Lived at Al Khobar, in the heart of City 0.5 kms to Cornish).
Price of 1300 Grams Chicken is 15 SAR
Vegetables for a Month will not cost you more than 100 SAR
Diary products 300 Ml Curd for 1 SAR
Milk 5 Liters 7 SAR
Rice Bag Top Quality of 10 Kgs 82 SAR
Hardly you'll spend 200 - 300 SAR for eating
If you plan for outing and if you've a Car from Company
Price of Fuel is 1 liter 1.17 SAR
McDonald's Mexican Burger (The costliest burger is 26 SAR full Meal)
Indian Restaurants Price of Biryani which can be shared by 2 with sufficient quantity is 25 SAR
I'm sure you'll not even spend 900 SAR.
Well Clothing is at Moderate Price, but when you'll visit India at least once per year, you can shop for your clothes India.
In My View I can say One of the best Country to live in with such amazing facilities, average prices etc.

That's what i was looking for an honest youtuber😁. bro i have worked 10 years as V.B developer plus I.T in K.S.A on company product like CI/CD and then i left in 2017 . now my tech stack is Java springboot (microservices) backend only is there any space for JAVA developer backend only? i am planing to come on azaad visa but my instinct is not optimistic it seems like wild goose chase. as you share your opinion about experience is still plus point & my friend told me too that market experience does matter. needs your input.. I have done mechanical engineering. I have almost 1 years of experience in CAD design.i worked online and designed engine parts. I am also familiar with other cad software outside my feild like revit and 3ds max. I can create 3d animations and rendering, product designs as well.
