the new phat dragon You could do that, but there’s an emphasis on staying safe. If someone is drunk, on drugs, or both, and grabs your shirt to punch you, a cut or stab to the stomach might even phase them until either the effects wore off or they died.
Also, putting them in a position where their life is at risk may not be the answer to the situation anyway, you may just need to control them so you can keep them there until help or police arrive.
