They should target jobs in big companies like Microsoft, Intel etc. Jobs like Malware analysist, Security Architect like careers. There is no reason to be a pentester if you have the opportunity inside MoU. Engineer means lots of maths and research, they should be able to join research projects easily. Not to maintain existing software projects or IT security industry.
