Loved his description of hi-milers as having "Moon Mileage", goes down well with ex-Petrolheads like myself! I tried to do a deal on a "two tank" Mini Cooper, in NSW, years ago, and the dealer didn't want to know with my trade-in, a '62 Ford Falcon Estate. Asking for the reason why not. He said "i know all about you Poms, noisy engines are fixed by shoving loads of bananas down the oil filler hole". I was laughing all the way home.
good day at the auctions but finding time and money is a headache especially with me because no help at all being paralysed from a brain heammorrage etc really takes the puff out of you especially in this hot weather but keep up the good work mate A+ .😄
Another cracking video, Joe. I love the red cars comment, great if they are Italian and classic need to bring my Fulvia down for an appraisal. The F56 Mini Cooper S great car would be good to see a 9 to 60 video. Love the banter, good luck to Josh in the new venture.
From a Bloke here who spent the last 24 years hitting the weekly powersports auctions all over the USA (moved to the Isle of Man now though) I loved this vid, as much as I wanted to retire and get away from it all I realize watching this I enjoyed it more than I thought lol make the most of it guys, as much as you hate it now one day you will miss it like I do now!
@@ShiftingMetal Yes he does..anything over 3.5t needs a tacho card and Driver cpc...been in the industry 33 years, i believe you also need an operators licence and a traffic manager who has an operators cpc, and when ever the truck goes out even without the trailer the driver will need to use his digi card and use EU drivers hours regs...lot of red tape joe

THINK Josh , needs to get some tattoos ,,, convince him to get the whole of one arm or leg to be done !!!!! always good to see how stupid people can look
Agree. Maybe captioning a good idea. In depth explanation of gross profit expectations though. Always an interesting watch.
Love watching these auction walk rounds
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
smashing video guys ! wish Josh the best of luck in his new buisness!! the industry needs young fellas keeping the wheels rolling!!!

Loving the videos. Makes me want to go to a car auction and buy a car, and maybe in the future start a business. Good Luck Josh
01:20 You should have aswell O licence, not just tacho.

Looking forward to the follow-up on the MINI Cooper S 😁
Great video Joe & Josh!
Great vid, only bidder on the astral surprised me, but fair price really and should be a good profit on them two buys. 👍🏻
Often thought of buying through auction houses but after watching you scrutinize I don't think I'd risk it. Too many things to consider.
Great guys, enjoying the trip out to the auction videos
Thanks 👍
Excellent video! Love how you follow up on the cars potential profits etc! Very informative and great content.

Exactly, Red works on sports and classics, not so great on a Kia! 😂 Please do!
Hi Joe. That's a totally lovely Mini Cooper S. 😢😢 I love it 😅😅 🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮
Smart Roadster coupe and a Cooper S - half of my collection. Good taste, that man.
I hope Josh isn't coming to Sussex to collect the Seat Mii 😮 I hope he is coming to Suffolk 🤷 as usual great content 👍
Haha, good point. I’m my defence, he may be going to Sussex for Mito and I’m easily confused!
Love the auction content . All the best from lake district.
Josh, good luck with your business.
Absolutely love my F56 cooper S puts a smile on my face everyday on my 5th Mini always watch your videos 😅😅
That MINI sounded nice! Looks fun to drive aswell!
It’s great!
Nice 👌 just what I needed, an upload from my favourite guy in the world of flipping cars.
Cheers mate 🍻
Love you Nd your vids so glad I found your vids
Thanks!
My cooper s had blown head gusket but they are awesome to drive :)

I live in Westbury, home of the white horse maybe see you there one day

Lee at Car UK's territory here haha
Nah. He’s normally at Prees Heath not Westbury 😂
Does Josh need a drivers cpc when exceeding 3.5 tons and being on tacho? Great vid as usual, well done.
Not that I know of but he might tell us otherwise 🤷♂️

Great vid and good insight
I always go for a KFC when I’m out and about but sometimes I go up market and go to Taco Bell
The insignia came new with problems … just awful cars yet the last vectra was the best one
Another good one Joe, love the auction videos 👌
Good stuff chaps
I feel sad for Josh, doesn't even get his own rode microphone for the video 😂
That Citroen was pretty cool to be honest, I'd have bought it 👍
Haha, he didn’t have anything good to say 🙄😂
@@ShiftingMetal well there's always next video 😂
Great video guys, have a 2013 Peugeot 208, two door, petrol manual,if you guys are interested?
Profit margin is good but surely you'll service the cars before sale?
Would much rather support Josh with his new business than give a big company money 😊
Jees he's a big fella

Are mondeos any good
Carrying 2 cars can be over weight check your truck for capacities
Hope this doesn't sound thick but do they charge you for holding them for you to collect
Not at all. They give you 2/3 days to collect and then it’s £10/£15 a day (depending on which auction house)
@@ShiftingMetal thanks for that not bad at all was hoping you didn't get stung by not being able to collect them all on the day of the sale ..Good lucknwith the sales
What astom barclay is this one if you dont mind saying. Also what is the best sale in the week. Thanks
Westbury 👍
6:32 What are those box things they fit to the windows?
Little key safe
what did the discovery go fo rplease? sound is not good
Think it went for £2700. Yes, difficult to understand the auctioneer isn't it!!
No Sophie to help you today to buy at the auction ?
She’s coming next time, I get it in the ear every time I don’t take her 🙄😂
He didn’t want me too 🥺🥺
@@ShiftingMetal I think she would like to get out more often instead of being stuck at the farm

very nice
That Smart was very cheap. Wrong wheels though.
Look like Fourtwo wheels, the offset was way off.
How does a car have no service history? Bailiff job? Ex hire?
mini timing belt?
It’s chain
Now you have a tacho fitted in he truck i assuming josh has his digi card and dcpc card to keep him legal ????
Cpc and O licence are in the works atm, any advice you have would be great as it’s all new to me
